This is one of the first things I install in a new house. If you have well water and don't have an RO you could be drinking arsenic and other heavy metals or other contams.
For those shopping for one you want a drinking water system that runs the RO'd water through an active carbon and mineral cartridge for taste.
I would even put an RO system in a home with city water too. Life is too short to be drinking garbage

My city draws water from a well thousands of years old. Our drinking water might as well be bottled as mineral water.
Fluoridation of drinking water is illegal in our country, another lack of Freedom we rejoice about.

I always wanted one of those fridges that dispense ice cubes and water. Man those were always the freshest glasses of water. You knew someone was upper middle class with one of those bad boys. Be hard to have a bad life when you can drink a delicious glass of water whenever you want.
It's not a front dispense with ice, it's that weird one with a little spout and a small gray button inside the fridge. https://www.google.com/search?q=inside+the+fridge+filtered+water+spout/button&rlz=1C1NHXL_enUS728US728&source=lnms&tbm=isch&sa=X&ved=2ahUKEwjF24yqjsjrAhWBJ80KHaCTAKYQ_AUoAXoECA0QAw&biw=1366&bih=625 Advanced water filtration uses XWF replacement filter - Reduces trace pharmaceuticals from water and ice ( Removes 98% of ibuprofen, atenolol, fluoxetine, progesterone and trimethoprim. You should do some quick searches about why drinking distilled water on a regular basis isn't that great of an idea.

Not to mention distilled water tastes "harsh" as it removes minerals from your cells.

I have researched for years. Send some links if you want. It only removes inorganic minerals from cells. You get organic minerals from the natural foods you eat. I have been drinking distilled for years . Everyone wants to think its the devil.

That isn't true, because you get enough minerals for your body from food you eat. Minerals contained in drinking water are not an important nutritional source of your body's minerals. With that said, I drink those 4 gal bottles of purified spring water, with an analysis that shows no detectable chlorine or fluoride. I don't drink much tap water because they chlorinate it and fluoridate it. I do use tap water for tea or coffee out of convenience.

its not that you get minerals from the water, its that the distilled water steals minerals from your body and you piss them out

Ah, but the water does not run through your blood vessels in a pure state! It is absorbed from your GI tract, and then combined in perfect harmony with your blood and all your blood's mineral components. Your cells see only balanced blood, no matter the mineral content of your drinking water.

I do distilled water fasts. A lot of people do too. If you have a balanced food program of natural foods then you will be fine. You will only piss out inorganic minerals which your body does not assimilate. You are getting rid of minerals that are not suppose to be in the body in the first place .

Tap water is not good to drink in my opinion. Its filled with all sorts of metals and minerals, plus fluoride that the government puts in for teeth-preservation or whatever.
I never drink tap water unless theres no choice. I have a Brita water filter pitcher in my fridge, i can still kinda taste the tap water harshness but its still so much better than drinking it straight from the tap.

Ever tasted Artesian water? That is my favorite. So much better than Tap. Its like commercial Acid compared to Family/Magic Acid. Or commercial cubes vs homegrown/naturalistic cubes.
