Looks like older sun bleached specimen of chicken of the woods, posting here just to double check. Was growing around a tree close to the base.

The pores underneath and their size have me second guessing myself.

After looking it up that looks just like it.

Still edible but not the same :-(

I did find some black trumpets though, and had a nice time in the forest version of aldis
