Wouldn't it be great if California went red? * 1

https://californiaglobe.com/section-2/the-good-the-bad-and-the-ugly-many-new-california-laws-taking-effect-in-2020/
The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly: Many New California Laws Taking Effect in 2020

Don’t get caught flatfooted on employment rules, gun control, or medical exemptions.

Expanded Medical Coverage for Illegal Immigrants

California became the first state to provide taxpayer-funded health coverage to adult illegal aliens, just ahead of a federal appeals court in New Orleans striking down a significant portion of the Affordable Care Act .

The appeals court agreed with a lower-court judge that the portion of the Affordable Care Act requiring people to purchase coverage is unconstitutional now that Congress has eliminated the tax penalty that was intended to enforce it.

Gov. Gavin Newsom signed a bill into law allowing illegal aliens between the ages of 19 and 25 coverage under Medi-Cal, California’s health insurance program for the poor, disabled, and now for those living in the country and state illegally, beginning Jan. 1.

Despite that 93 percent of Californians have health insurance, the California Legislature approved the tax to California citizens who do not buy health insurance,  creating an “Individual Mandate” to require Californians to purchase health insurance, and imposes a fine for failure to do so.

The appeals court sent the case back to the lower court to decide how much of the rest of the law can stand in light of the ruling striking the tax penalty.

GREAT, A CONTINUATION OF OBAMAS CORPORATE SCAM THAT FORCES YOU TO BUY GARBAGE INSURANCE THAT DOESNT COVER ANYTHING.

STEALING MONEY FROM POOR PEOPLE IS SO EASY ISNT IT

The U.S. Supreme Court refused to hear Martin vs. City of Boise on Monday, reducing the power that police in cities such as Los Angeles and San Francisco have in stopping homeless people from staying in public areas

GREAT, THERE ARE ALREADY TWACKED OUT PSYCHOS ON EVERY CORNER DOWNTOWN FLAILING EVERY HOUR OF THE DAY.
IF YOU WALK 2 BLOCKS FROM THE CAPITOL ALL THE SIDEWALKS ARE COVERED WITH MYSTERIOUS STAINS AND HUMAN WASTE.

On Jan. 1, California moves yet again closer toward the end goal of a $15-an-hour minimum wage.

The minimum wage will increase to $13 an hour for larger employers with more than 26 employees, and $12 an hour for employers with fewer than 26 employees.

As the chart shows, the annual minimum wage increases until 2023, when the $15 an hour takes effect.

Some cities already have a $15-an-hour minimum wage, and are feeling the effects sooner than the rest of the state with many small business closures.

A recent University of California Riverside study found that California’s minimum wage increases have contributed to many restaurant closures. Economists at Harvard Business School and Mathematica Policy Research found that a one-dollar increase in the minimum wage led to a 10 percent increase in the likelihood of restaurant closures for a median 3.5-star restaurant and a four to six percent reduction in the likelihood of restaurants entering the market to begin with, according to the Employment Policies Institute Minimum Wage project.

IM ON THE FENCE ABOUT THIS..
YES CALIFORNIA IS EXPENSIVE TO LIVE IN, BUT ITS ONLY BECAUSE THERE IS SO MUCH RED TAPE ON BUILDING HOUSING, MANY PEOPLE JUST DON'T BOTHER.

AT THE SAME TIME IT FORCES EVERY BUSINESS IN THE STATE TO PAY EVEN THEIR DIPSHIT NOSE PICKER EMPLOYEES 15/HR WHICH WILL UNDOUBTEDLY HURT THEIR BUSINESS AND MAKE PEOPLE WHO ARE ACTUALLY GOOD AT THEIR JOBS WANT MORE.

THIS IS THE TYPE OF BUREAUCRACY THAT MAKES POPULIST FIGURES LIKE TRUMP SO POPULAR.

IF THE WEATHER AND LAND IN CALIFORNIA WASNT SO NICE YOUD BE SEEING WHATS HAPPENING IN NY STATE.
MORE PEOPLE ARE LEAVING NY STATE THAN ANY OTHER.

FROM A POLITICAL STANDPOINT NY AND CA HAVE ALMOST CONGRUENT STATE LAWS.
NY STATE SIMPLY PUT IS ICEY LIVING HELL FROM JANUARY-MARCH.

What are you talking about?
No counter argument?
Just personal attacks?

I hope you don't see it as an attack. Are your parents around to help you get some counseling, or maybe a friend or other family member?

You can also just try an ER, they can usually make a referral to mental health services as well.

Hope you get some help!

Still no counter argument......
Do you have one?
I love debating liberals, when they cannot defend their beliefs they instantly move to personally attacking you.

A lot of states were already offering public healthcare to illegal women and children.

Illegals are an important part of the labor force in California. That's my two cents.

Do you notice there how you overlayed your impression of someone else's mindset over the facts of the matter? That's a diagnostic criteria for personality disorder, it's referred to as "mind reading" and is a strong psychological trigger for people who engage in delusional fantasy behavior.

Do you have someone you trust who you can talk to about your mental health? Is there a resource you're aware of nearby that can help you stabilize?

So you are still saying you still have no counter argument....

"Do you have someone you trust who you can talk to about your mental health? Is there a resource you're aware of nearby that can help you stabilize?"

You already said that....

Put up or shut up.....

Since we are repeating things we already said ill join in too.

Quit projecting your insecurities on other people, its really so blatantly obvious at this point.

The Problem With Projection

This element of psychology may appear to be effective in defending our minds against pain, but there are two fundamental problems that run counter to this argument.

The first is that projection makes us feel superior to everyone else because it allows us to overlook our own faults and inadequacies while simultaneously honing in on what we perceive to be imperfect in others.

The second issue with projection as a defense mechanism is that it fails to address the underlying feelings themselves. As long as we continue to deny the existence of these feelings, there is no mechanism that can help us to tackle and overcome them.

All caps screaming posts about people this person hasn't met and likely will never meet inferring nefarious motives and making dozens of posts hourly on a mushroom cultivation forum.

Is that a healthy, flourishing person or someone who needs some help?

That's hardly the point here, IF they're so important, why doesn't their potential employer pay for their health care?

Either way, illegals should NOT be in the US health care system with taxpayers footing the bill as tens of millions of US citizens having no access to health care.

It's not hard to guess what side of the political spectrum this person is on. Seriously, 99% of the time if you guess, you'll be correct. A certain someone did the same thing to me in the first reply in my terrorist thread when I first showed up, literally the exact same thing. (And others followed suit.)

This is of course one of the many reasons I am disgusted with the left and their allies right now.

Though I gotta give people like Capsicum Chinense credit. It's people just like him and Ballsalsa that have created a fresh new group of Trump supporters.

It's not an argument, it's what happened. You can make a case for whether or not it's moral, but that's what happened.
