PatrickKn said: Trump doesn't really speak his mind, he's a master at loose language that conveys feelings while often bouncing around a subject in public. He didn't genuinely stick to a lot that he ran on initially, mostly in the sense that he did not end corporate welfare (but enhanced it), he did not build a cabinet that was free of conflict of interest (he literally placed the very kinds of people he said he wouldn't day 1), he did not end tax loopholes for profitable companies (introduced new subsidies to the same), his tax plan did lower taxes temporarily (not at the rates his campaign said it would, and not in anyway balanced with a budget), and he has not drastically reduced the kind of government spending that he criticized past presidents for.
He's not being confusing because he's incapable of forming a cohesive narrative. He's not blurting out whatever comes to mind either. Everything he says on stage is a calculated move, he repeats things over and over again not because he hasn't practiced his lines, but because he is hammering a narrative into your mind. He's being confusing because it's in his advantage to do so. Many think he's stupid. I don't think so, I think he's one of the smartest players in a largely corrupt system for influence.
He's what happens when people OPENLY realize there is an oligarchy in control of the democracy (something that is always the case, but which is all too obvious when those in control are completely ineffective at balancing that yield of control towards stability). People openly see that our government is granting special privileges to an increasingly aristocratic class that profits from sustained warfare and international control of both markets and ideas. Donald Trump saw that as well and merely capitalized on that realization by saying openly what people knew already, and taking it a step further by creating division.
He is in every way a modern day Julius Caesar politically, but didn't need a civil war to take power because of the existing democratic systems in place. He used to the political climate and confirmed people's suspicions about things openly, and despite being someone who has benefited from the systems in place historically, decried many of those things to get public support towards his cause.
I don't personally like him. I think he's full of shit and promoting the same things he campaigned against, and I suspected that's exactly what we were looking at when he won. But I don't think he's dumb, and I can see why he was elected pretty clearly now. I have a strong feeling he'll win a second term and would have even if this virus stuff weren't taking place.
Had Sanders won, I would have voted for him. I still believe Trump would have won against Sanders though, but who knows. I won't personally be voting for Biden or Trump.
This is exactly how I see it too.

Because the DNC is an incredibly flawed system run by wealthy, private interest groups which employ strategic media campaigns across all platforms (social media, television, newspapers, etc.) to influence the results of the Democratic primary elections in such a way that "moderate" (read as: conservative who is okay with weed, gay marriage, and abortion) candidates stand the best chance of receiving a nomination. Indeed, Biden won the primaries, but to say that he was the most popular candidate is debatable. The same thing could be said of Hillary Clinton during the 2016 election. She was a "moderate" (again, read as: conservative who is okay with weed, gay marriage, and abortion), and a large portion of left-leaning voters (myself included) were incredibly frustrated that she was the nominee.

It just seems like a really crappy candidate, like they want to give Trump another go. Should have chosen a young and powerful candidate that people would really rally around, someone that people could unite behind.
Just seems insane to me. Like donkey old men decided that Biden was in their interests but didn't think about winning the election. Just assumed that an election against Trump was unlosable, which is probably an underestimation .
Safe bets are easier to conspire against ime.
If there's only one horse that can win the race then you only have to bribe one jockey to change the results.
It's almost like he was chosen by the republicans.
That fact that he wasn't shows broken dems with a cookie cutter mentality that shows only a certain shape can represent all the factions.
Obama was an exception to the rule.

Rogan is a few years older than Jones; and much more stable; I think it would be awesome to see them run the country; so long as they are righteous and aren't MKULTRA or MOCKINGBIRD or some shit like that in disguise.

The "students are in charge for a day" day seems to be drawing to a close.
The transition back to normality maybe about to occur. Still a few of the kids blinded by the touch of raw power continue to scheme on how to not turn it over.
To everybody else it's a joke that only the kids cannot see.
Huzzah for an entrenched system that is so much more comfortable than a tempting anarchy.
Let us all resume our curriculum.

Funny how someone living on a different continent could predict the outcome 4 months ago, while tens of millions still to this day fail to see what’s right in front of them. Blindfolds tend to have that effect though.

Tbh I think distance gives a unique potential for clarity.
He telegraphed it.
The saving grace in fact was that it was so close...that on election night both sides needed the count to continue.
That radio silence then allowed Biden to get up and "keep the faith".
