Agar Experiment Idea, Would it work?

So I had this idea and was curious what you guys think,
I was trying to figure a good way to use my agar plates that I have transferred from (T-0) that I made from pins. I didn't want to just throw them away seemed wasteful to me since they are still looking pretty good. I was thinking..
Could you possibly start an outdoor grow with all these agar plates?
The idea was to take a few (about 10) plates and mix them in with some prepped coir and either oats/BRF and make a hole outside and just dump the whole mix in and see what happens.
Do you think this would work? I'm not banking on it but I would attempt it just to see what happens if someone here tells me it has a shot.
Let me know what you think

Guaranteed to fail. This question has been asked in several different ways before ("can I use my extra LC to...", "can I use my old agar pucks to...", etc) but it's way beyond a crap shoot. Way. Old pucks go in the trash, or wait for plate pins, brother. Not enough nutes for the myc to colonize the substrate in an old puck, so it will just die. Hence why we expand from agar to spawn to bulk. Ratios matter.

Ahh fair enough I tried to look it up last night but couldn't find anything. I figured it was probably a shot in the dark more or less was just curious though. I guess I'll toss a few in the trash and keep the better looking ones to see if a few pins pop. Thanks for the feedback man don't want to attempt an experiment doomed to fail

A fun thing to do with an old plate. Let it grow, let it grow. Eventually it’ll sprout a pin/s and you can use that pin to drop onto a new plate. I only ever use no-pours now tho so I’m a petri it may dry out before growing pins... idk.
