Can contamination to spore syringe or mycelium during colonization not be detectable with the eye? if so wouldn't there always be risk of contamination?

There's no such thing as a sterile spore syringe, you can't make a syringe with water and a spore print and have it come out sterile, that's why it's recommended that you put a drop on agar and do a few transfers to clean the culture before putting them to grain. You should look into agar, it can be done fairly successfully with a still air box.
IME, bacterial contamination is almost never visible with the eye even in substrate, but you can sure as hell smell it, not in a syringe, but definitely on a substrate.

Well it usually has a sourish smell to it, some would say it smells chemically or I've heard ppl describing an ammonia like smell. If you're talking about a grain jar, or a bulk substrate, if you're talking about a BRF jar then post a pic and that would be a lot easier. The syringe solution itself won't smell though if it has a lot of bacteria, you just have to grow it out and see.
You can inject a spore solution directly into a grain bag and have success, but you'll have a much higher success rate if you can put a drop on agar and use the agar to inoculate your grains.
IME with BRF spore syringes seem to have a higher success rate, granted I don't use BRF much, so it could have just been a luck of the draw kinda deal.

If trying to spot contamination in a syringe or on grain/cakes, then yes there can be instances where it is next to impossible to spot contamination. that is until it takes over.
However, on the 2D surface of agar, a large majority of the times it's possible to spot contamination. At times this can be easy, especially with satellite colonies. Other times, such as when the contam is intertwined with the myc, it can be rather difficult.
I'm hesitant to say there is a scenario where it is impossible to tell, as there are definitely times that I couldn't spot a contam, but I'm sure some of the more well trained eyes here could have spotted it if they were looking at the plate in person. But there definitely are instances where it's extremely difficult to spot contams, even on agar.

Also smell cheats you sometimes. Some people shake up their jars, then take a smell. You`ll usually have mushroom smell then, even with bacteria included. Bad smell is always bad spawn. Good smell isn`t necessarily good spawn.

Yeah this is very true, to the OP, keep this in mind when you're trying to sort out the issue.
