All joking aside. I dont think cling ships as well as para.
Now you're just lying and shit.

Yeah, sitting in the lab, it doesnt matter. You dont even need to wrap plates, period. But the para does ship a lot better.

Also, duct tape is a horrible way to seal petris. It works but is a pain in the ass to work with. Look into glad cling wrap or parafilm. I use glad but some of the fuckers around here still thing parafilm is better (they're wrong).
Shameless necrobump (kinda) Wont the mycelium suffocate with saran round the petri?

No. It's gas permeable (breathable). Works wonderfully.

LDPE #4. . . Breathable. . . This is a funny argument. . . M16 vs AK47? Space pen vs pencil? Glad works real well. . . Easy to cut. . . Easy to dispense. . . No glove contact with the surface touching the petri. . . Why does your plastic have to come with extra plastic?
Labs use polystyrene petri, because they are easy. . . Polystyrene is filth (trust me your great great grandkids will agree). . . Glass petri and glad wrap. . .much less plastic waste. . .
Just because you break the law and grow actives. . . Dosenโt mean you have to be a criminal and suffocate the planet. . .
