I got my second dose of the Pfizer vaccine yesterday and have had no side effects, not even a sore arm.
I've heard that the Moderna vaccine causes worse side effects.

Sounds better than dying to me.
I'm in my 40s and have had a tough life. I might live to get old now if I look after myself well enough, but covid would have a decent chance of doing me in.

So, I keep hearing that this vaccine is different from all other ones we've invented in that it's an RNA vaccine.
My understanding is that coronaviruses (not just COVID) are what cause common colds. Since we got the vaccine for this kind of coronavirus, does that mean we can also now rid the world of the common cold?

There is probably some level of cross-immunity given the similarity of the various s spikes, but they are different enough that developing antibodies to one will not likely confer a high level of protection against others

An actual covid infection likely would provide some immunity to the coronavirus colds because there are antibodies produced for many different parts of the virus, some of which are going to be similar to proteins on the surface of cold viruses. The vaccines target one part of the virus that I don’t believe is similar to other coronavirus, so I doubt there would be any cross immunity.

this virus isn't that hard to beat, big issues were politicized hospital care in North America leading to thousands of unnecessary deaths. The globalist realized many had to die in order to justify the election fraud So they banned effective medications, stuffed the care homes with active cases and then prescribed treatments that would rive the virus deeper into the lungs ensuring long term damage or death.

Do you guys think that the US people would have gone along with the immediate sweeping lockdown and mask policy that was required to stop mass infection if Trump had ordered it? Somehow I doubt it. The screaming about rights and business losses would still be ringing in our ears, even if it had worked and significantly hampered the spread.
6 weeks into a necassary 3 month lockdown people would be protesting in groups of thousands, undoing everything they had just done. Then the government would capitulate because people are bitching they are losing money and stop the lockdowns before they became effective enough to track and trace infections and clean them up... Which is what happened.
The US people have been so divided in recent years that it defies all logic. Truly insane contrarian stands fed from the internet on every single topic nest inside their heads. They literally could not build a Lego castle together if everyone got to place one block. Some people would deny the blocks exist (blockspiracy), others would claim that being forced to place a block is against their rights, others would argue about what colour the blocks are whilst others would never place a block because they'd be bitching that everyone shouldn't be building a castle they should be building a wall.
