The vaccine is firearms instruction. Getting infected is straight up being shot at.

Imagine you could drop by the ER and tell them that in two months you'll be brought in with a Havoc rat poison poisoning. The ER would look up the active ingredient, order the antidote, vitamin K, and on the day you fall ill, there is no hitch.

This sounds absurd, but with vaccines it works this way.

By vaccinating, your immune system analyzes the threat and prepares antidotes and reinforces specifically for that, and keeps them on hand for months or years. It even keeps the basics on file for later.

Then, when you get the disease, you are far better prepared to fight it and thats why your odds are far better after vaccination than without it.

This makes damn good sense.

"Forewarned is forearmed", thats what vaccines are about.

The immune system gets to analyze the enemy extensively before it encounters it live.

The vaccine is pepperoni
Covid is pepperoni pizza

Oh no what about the long term effects of pepperoni. you won't see me getting any untested pepperoni

But I'll go out and eat a whole pepperoni pizza because science didn't make it. And I don't understand science so it's scary to eat just pepperoni.

MRSA came from people deciding to stop taking their antibiotics the moment they felt better and saving the rest for the next time they felt sick so they could avoid having to go to the doctor again.

I have SA, but fortunately not MRSA. Its a BITCH even without the multiple resistance.

Does this mean I'll remain a S.Aureus carrier after the infection is over btw? Given that like 1/3 of people are?

yes, an in animal models vaccines resulted in vaccine resistent viruses. i said that and i was called retarded. I used metaphors and those are laughable but asante can say getting vaccinated is like firearms instruction.

perfect. i love it.

You underestimate it.

Covid worldwide has a fatality rate of over 2% of confirmed cases. A lot more people will be extremely sick.

Moreover: COVID DAMAGE INCREASES THE MORE OFTEN YOU GET IT.

Every subsequent time you get it it gets worse, it seems.

How high is the fatality rate if you had it 5 times? No one knows yet. This may turn out to be a major killer still.

yea thats fucking terrifying. now what if you "poke it with a stick instead of shooting it with a .50 cal handgun"

"insert good metaphor that will be ridiculed"

and thats also ignorign the weirdly high number of people who get it and then don't have any long term damage from it/symptoms/have antibodies for 6 months+

go study those people instead of the really sick people.

https://www.pbs.org/newshour/science/tthis-chicken-vaccine-makes-virus-dangerous

i feel like i should just keep posting these studies and reiterate, i am vaccinated, i think it's safe, teh most dangerous thing about covid was it showed how many people suck at applying science in their lives and would rather get angry at their fellow humans instead of acknowledging real research and real consequences that can occur. Which is where Cipolla comes in.

Quote:

The Basic Laws of Human Stupidity (1976)

The second essay, "The Basic Laws of Human Stupidity" ("Le leggi fondamentali della stupidità umana", 1976),[1][2][3] explores the controversial subject of stupidity. Stupid people are seen as a group, more powerful by far than major organizations such as the Mafia and the industrial complex, which without regulations, leaders or manifesto nonetheless manages to operate to great effect and with incredible coordination.

These are Cipolla's five fundamental laws of stupidity:

Always and inevitably, everyone underestimates the number of stupid individuals in circulation.
The probability that a certain person (will) be stupid is independent of any other characteristic of that person.
A stupid person is a person who causes losses to another person or to a group of persons while himself deriving no gain and even possibly incurring losses.
Non-stupid people always underestimate the damaging power of stupid individuals. In particular, non-stupid people constantly forget that at all times and places, and under any circumstances, to deal and/or associate with stupid people always turns out to be a costly mistake.
A stupid person is the most dangerous type of person.

Sounds satirical and haughty.

If you're interested in "the most dangerous people", look into Dark Triad personalities. Psychopathy, Narcissism, Machiavellianism.

it doesn't mean stupid people aren't amazing, wonderful people. i love stupid people. look at comedy central, sketch comedy, the news. it's entertaining as fuck. but hte thing is, stupidity is like blonde hair or wide hips. its independent of any other characteristic about you. aka, someone with blonde hair could also be small or big, short or tall, etc. a stupid person could be homeless or a general. doesn't matter.

Vaccine resultant?

Resistance is hard for the virus to aquire because the vaccine aims at the spike protein.

The virus would likely render itself uninfectious if it modified spike so much the vaccine no longer worked. Since spike is how it enters our cells. Spike itself could mutate and still work but also still be targeted by the antibodies.

And in the extremely unlikely event that spike mutates in a way that the antibodies cannot attack and it's still infectious it would be extremely easy to just add a new mRNA piece to the vaccines.

The only vaccination policy that actually makes any sense is the same way we eradicated other diseases. Mandatory and complete vaccination of the entire population

I tried to explain to him that the vast majority of mutations render a virus non functional. Based on the fact that the major variants share many of the same mutations, it is pretty likely that those are some of the only mutations that benefit the virus.

He just doesn’t understand these concepts

We want you to physically suck the dick of the stupid people or its not enough :ifyoucanawe:

How would you define stupid anyway? If you say not getting yourself vasccinated is stupid, theres people way above 100 not getting it and people way under 100 going to great lengths to get their shots, so it isnt about IQ.

So its not about intelligence or about any topic n particular.

I think its a bit arbitrary to categorize people as stupid.

Most people I know who think of people as stupid, appear to use it as a derogatory label to dismiss people off the bat.
