Yeah, I don't know what to think....
I'm interested in finding solutions for ANY health threat, preferably sourced from nature. So I just feel reassured that adding medicinal mushrooms to our diet was and is a good idea. (see my link above in my prev. post)
I don't wanna spend to much energy trying to figure out the origin or the intent behind the "creation" of this virus. I leave that for smart people with funding and tools.
For me, conspiracy theories about the origin of this (or any other viruses) are kind of silly. First of all, figuring out those things won't help squat if my kids / wife / me gets sick. Right? Secondly, if an interest group were to create this virus for the purpose of "culling the herd", can we agree that they did a kind of shitty job?

In regards to it being an intentional creation, it seems prudent to me to ask 'if that's the case, were all the previous pandemics created by a time travelling cabal with the same intention?'

To me it doesn't matter how it came about, what matters is that there's an airborne virus with the genes for HIV's gp120 and gag motifs, the genes that allow it to respectively invade and reproduce within T-cells... meanwhile society at large is treating it as not much worse than the flu.
In the early years of the HIV epidemic, people weren't dropping like flies either. It wasn't until people had a chance to carry the infection for a few years that it became a leading cause of death. Covid is already the third leading cause of death and there probably isn't a single person that's been infected for more than a year... just saying

But so what IS helping then? Or am I misreading the charts? To me, it seems like that now less people are dying than in the spring even tho the number of infections are much higher than in the spring. Did the virus mutate to be less lethal? Did the hospitals figure something out? What's going on?

It could be this, although analysis of mutations within various communities should be able to address this hypothesis. I'm not sure if there has been anything published to support this?
The sense that I am getting is that Best Practice for treating people critically ill with Covid has rapidly evolved since the virus was first identified. A common paradigm in treating lung injury is to treat early and aggressively with lung sparing, low tidal volume ventilator support. It seems that the broad applicability of such an approach for Covid yields less benefit than typical, and may indeed be harmful in some cases. Supplemental oxygen, when possible with nasal canula or mask in combination with dexamethasone to treat underlying inflammation has been adopted more recently. I think that there has also been greater appreciation for the urgency in treating virus-driven disseminated intravascular coagulopathy as well.

I think the first wave the virus was infecting the entire demographic because it snuck up on us. Now people who are more at risk are taking measures to keep themselves safe, while those who don’t perceive a risk are not.
I hate to make this political but, while young people are generally being irresponsible throughout the country, the more vulnerable are being more or less responsible based on their political belief that motivate whether they take the virus seriously or not. Despite having a steady stream of new cases, people have essentially stopped dying of covid in democratic strongholds. I’d like to see political data on covid fatalities. I bet theres a hugely disproportionate number of anti-mask trump supporters.

I got a flu shot AND a covid test. The covoid test was negative but I don't believe it. Weeks after being sick I'm still winded, there's a tendency for my breath to squeak, there are obviously after effects not common in usual flu and colds.

you know, asante... i got a nasty cold thing sort of like that in February. with zinc lozenges, the side effects weren't so bad after the first day, with the worst being extreme fatigue, but the after effects lingered for months. every night in particular, i would start to get the cold showing up again a bit. not much, just a few coughs here and there, mainly when bending over or the like or exerting too much, or lying down.
eventually saw the doc and he gave me an inhalator to try and help strengthen the lung passageways, but it didn't really relieve it much at all over the course of two months. ironically, i got my top two wisdom teeth removed about a month and a half ago, and got prescribed antibiotics for it. followed the course of them, and noticed after about 4-5 days my cough was gone completely.
i wonder if it was a bacterial infection of some sort in the lungs i had now, either secondary, or some nasty strain of cold thats going around, not covid-19 i got back then.

What kind of test? The rapid ones give a lot of false negatives.
It’s doubtful you have the flu. Flu transmission has essentially been shut down across the world and its prevalence is at historic lows.

The weeks following the holidays this year will be endless headlines reading "He thought the virus was a hoax and hoasted a large thanksgiving dinner, grandma got infected and died, now he urges others to wear a mask."
Everyone I know is planning get togethers like there's nothing going on, the "covid fatigue" mixed with close gatherings of people from different states is gonna be a clusterfuck.

Some of my thoughts on the corona situation..
Well.. 1 thing for sure.. I feel like the media are not nearly giving enough attention on how much influence you have on your own health, that you have a lot of influence on your immune system with your lifestyle habits.
I saw what Wim Hof said about these things, I think it's pretty cool.
Of course am not saying that if you're living healthy, you would never ever get any diseases, but I feel like in the media they pay way too little attention to lifestyles...
Now with the pandemic.. when I learn about the previous viruses during recent years.. the mad cows disease, swine flu, bird flu, sars, ebola.. it's all linked to animals.
And now the covid.. which came from animal markets in China they say.. from a bat..
I actually feel like... if there would be a vaccine or the corona virus would magically disappear.. there would arise new virusses.. if the way animals are treated hasn't changed.
This whole industry doesn't look healthy, normal, or natural at all.
It's like.. we make animals sick with this modern industry, and then we make ourselves sick by eating their sick bodies (there are no viruses in melons or mango's).
Maybe if an animal has a natural life (like a wild deer who has lived freely and natural his whole life).. that would maybe be not as bad, but I'd still go with vegan (also cause I have experienced so much benefit from it).
This whole industry is just completely ridiculous if you ask me and it's a breeding ground of diseases.
Facemasks.. lockdown and all this, doesn't cure the root cause of these viruses imo.. everything just get's more unnatural and robotic that way it seems..
In my experience veganism is a great solution for improving vitality & health.
Just sharing my 2cts
