This is likely the best liner tek I’ve read to date. Not my preference but still a worthy writeup. Killing it munch

I like the bag sub and spawn mix part. Very cool munch!
Im not into the cutting part Personally, but do love the mix method. Looks very quick.
New stuff to try next spawn session!

Thank you for sharing your liner tek. Gonna try to cut my liners like you do for ny next spawning
I have a random question tho
Do you ever keep the bags semi closed and wrapped up top when you are fruiting? I am using mini monos/small tubs, and I noticed fruits liking it a lot when closed up the bag over them, when they grew too large/long for the deep but small sub. Seemed to prevent too much moisture leaving the sub too. Popped two small holes with a scissor, frees up the lid for other use, and no need for a dub tub.

how would you do it? not cut the bag at all? are you using unmodded monos?

I've never mini monos or shoeboxes with liners. But I think bod's fruiting method for them involves placing a grocery bag overtop iirc.

I usually use the outside of the trash bag and just fold it to the side after ive spawned and top layered. Takes about 2 seconds. Then i flip the bag up over the sub and use it as a trashbag afterwards. But im always willing to try something new. Got it with pics and gifs in my spawn method. The corners kinda stay up and it makes for any easy handle grip when lifting sub out for harvest.I personally Never liked cutting liners, more work. But reduction in mixing subs is a plus!

Normal random liner ^

Bagged up, ideas

Problem with deep subs in small boxes, fruits hit the lid real quick and size of sub can make em big.

it seems to help here, but im still not getting canopies, but the fruits obviously like it
gives you more surface area to mist too

Looks like you’re restricting a lot of light with the liners all up in it like that... could be one reason you’re not getting canopies.. you should try trimming your liner and just using the lid for the tub or have you tried that already?

I’m probably confused.. I’m just going off the pics. Just saying that if the bags are blocking the light, it’s not helping. Are you open air fruiting them? Do you live a really dry climate? I’m just confused why you have the surface partly covered.
Subs definitely can and do fruit in poorly lit areas but if you’re talking canopies, I’ve found that exposing the entire fruiting surface to good lightning greatly improve your chances of that goal... but I don’t want to derail the thread.. if you want to talk about it more, plz pm me the response or a link to a thread where you already discuss it if there is one.

Did this tonight. Anyway watched the video. There were a few factors involved in my situation that make this a little more difficult. However, the mix was quick and easy. I use larger footprint tubs so the bags i had wouldnt cover the entire bottom. Would have on the purple latch tubs but didnt have any empty. Also i have quart grain jars so its not as quick breaking them up as a bag of spawn is.
I do have something i think you will thank me for later munch. I fucking hate cutting liners, mp tape. This thing is a lifesaver. Its a little more than the regular rolls but totally worth the investment. I think you could even reuse the dispenser on another roll. If you have several tubs it will save you so much time and effort. It did take me a week or so to get the feel of cutting the perfect strip, but now its badass! My tub holes are 1.5 inch diameter. The mp tape is 2 inch wide.
