Went out to try find some today in glasgow and found this decent sized one. Not 100% set on this being a lib but trying to develop more of an eye for seeing them as I'm still very new at this. If it is, I'm going back as there are plenty more in that area.

My first season so thought I'd say hello. Been on a hunt this morning over some pastures in Staffordshire. Literally found 100's of LBM's, but no libs unfortunately. I'm in Worcestershire tomorrow so going to get out again. Seems its only the last couple of days the conditions have become more favourable around here, anyone had much luck in the Midlands? Loving my new found interest in Mycology though and looking forward to the amount of time I'm going to be spending outdoors over the next couple months. Good luck all.

First ever post here but I've been lurking for a while soaking up all the great info. Went out for a look today since it's been raining and getting colder, found these;

What do you think?

Also found a tenner in the grass so there's that at least :grin:

Found today in the north of England. Sat down and there they were, between my legs on the mountainside.

Congratulations on the first find of the season, this is also how I found my first ever liberty cap. :smile:

I was in Devon last week and to my surprise found around a dozen liberty caps over the weekend.

Great! Slim pickings but hopefully more will pop up there over the next few nights. Just happy to find some.
