Please take a look at my jars are tell me how they are doing. Are they too wet? Not colonized enough? I should mention I shook them about 7 days ago because I felt the colonization wasn't even. As always thanks for your guys time!

You sent the wrong link bud, edit that and try again haha. Also if you're at 39 days and not at full colonization I'd say they're probably a loss without even seeing the pictures

Sorry brother, the wet grains pressed up against the glass and overall cottage cheese look means these are going to fail
You could roll the dice though, you never know. But you are likely to get trich before the first flush or during it.
I have LOTS of experience with jars like that, unfortunately.

Well shit =(. What is the solution to these problems? Dry the grains out more?

The wet spots are not actually wet from your grains being too moist. They are wet from bacteria getting into your jars from an improper inoculation procedure. Somewhere along the line you let bacteria into your jars, unfortunately.

Doesn't look too bad to me. The wettest ones don't look great. Moisture content may be a bit high in your jars though. For example, the biggest offender is in your fifth picture, and there's a lot of condensation buildup at the top.
What's next though right? If you pop it open, and it smells like a mushroom, spawn those bad boys and use maybe a 1:1 spawn to substrate ratio for fast colonization. I'd group the best with the best, and the wettest with the wettest. For fun you can spoon through the grains too and see if you can spot any obvious contamination in the core areas. You're definitely getting some fruit here no matter what.
If you were planning to G2G, use the best looking jars of course. I'd shake the ones you want for G2G, see how they recover, and then make a decision.
Good job though

Lol well you've gotten replies from both ends of the spectrum.
I personally think you'd be crazy to g2g any of those, but to each his own.
If you do spawn it, let us know how it turns out!

They do look a bit funny. Like grain jars nocc’d with a spore syringe. I also wouldn’t g2g any but if they smelled decent I’d spawn each to a shoe box.

So I decided to roll the dice and put these guys in a mono. To my surprise, after reading some of the replies I got, I do not have any contamination thus far. I just wanted to check to see if I'm doing everything right. Here's a pic of what's going on 3 days after casing and putting into fruiting conditions. Is this typical of the beginning of a flush? I was hoping for a bunch of pins growing evenly throughout. Also a question on patching. The Tek I'm following mentions keeping some substrate for optional "patching" but doesn't illustrate what that means. I assume I just put more substrate over the areas where mycelium is poking through but no actual mushrooms are growing? I also have a pic of the outside of my mono to show the moisture level. It's about the same as it was before I put the polyfill in which surprised me. The top holes are super loose too. As I said, I basically just want to make sure things are looking as they should.
