I can't hack it anymore. It's all to familiar. Of course I'll still eat a burger. But I don't think I can do steak or ham anymore. It sucks.

That's a good cut lol. I don't think I can eat it now. I'm taking anatomy and it's pretty enlightening. I tried biting into some brisket and got a mouth full of adipose tissue and a nuerovascular bundle.
Yummy.
Beef isn't bad I guess if it's trimmed. Unfortunately this was deep into the muscle.
I just ate the last of the ham I had though. I definitely won't be touching that stuff again.

Meh. Gotta eat something and if you think toooo much about it you'll ruin the taste experience. Put it this way eggs (chicken menstruation), meat (flesh and viscera), vegetables (plant cocks mostly). Somethings aren't worth thinking about.
Though the fact hog flesh and hearts are so common to humans is interesting to say the least. Won't stop me from eating pork belly though.

I have cut red meat and fowl out of my diet in favor of fish and eggs.
That makes me somewhat less of a supervillain in Vegan eyes but I'm not doing it for them, I'm doing it for my health.

Yeah too much ham can definitely be a bad thing. You are what you eat and having ham supply your very essence is a revolting feeling. See also boiled eggs, peanut butter sandwiches. With subpar tree planting cooks there would be insufficient sandwich materials in the morning other than peanut butter if you weren't up when they put out the better stuff like sliced meats. For years after that the smell of peanut butter sickened me. I eat it occasionally now but only on toast.
In moderation though I do like ham. Ham and cabbage, with or without potatoes, is a good combo. Would not want to eat just that for too many successive meals though.
I don't know what you are talking about with steak vs hamburger though.

Red meat contains zinc.
I eat 2.5lbs grass fed and finished ground beef per work week.
I also eat a lot of organic broccoli, steamed.
I don't mind meat, though I kinda would like to hunt for my meat, or find a friend with extra game meats for trade.
Factory farming sucks.

Took me awhile but yes. I haven't eaten a steak for an really long time and I hate ham. Burgers I gave up a long time ago as well but that was fast food burgers. Made me laugh my step-dad ate one from Carls Jr. and got food poisoning. And this man is a rancher growing up in North Dakota and all he eats is shitty meats and it still got him.
I won't eat Taco Bells or Carl Juniors. God when I last ate at Taco Bell, felt so shitty literally.
I love the quote from one of my favorite books. When in the cowboy times this guy running up to a guy on a horse telling him of his problems. And he just says, "Well ain't that the running shits".
I hate it so I don't put myself in that in that situation anymore. I know the running shits.

Also, I was craving ciggies and McDonald's last night. Glad I realized what an idiot my body was being. I'm gonna punish it today with cardio.

There are some seriously horrid stories on a different not about Taco Bell and the youths of this generation during the graveyard, drive through only shifts.

There are days where I go completely vegetarian -- just roasted vegetables and some beans or grains, but I do find myself during those days really feeling like I'm lacking something significant.
Red meat/meat just gives me this boost of energy that I really need. I can feel a significant difference of energy compared to those days where I don't consume any real meats.

I really, REALLY want to try moose meat. A nice moose steak. I've mentioned this before here but on one of the Anthony Bourdain's episodes, he was hanging out with some chefs in Canada and all three of them said that moose meat is, in their opinions, the most delicious red meat on earth.

Is this just your poetry?
Brisket requires skill to prepare correctly, and it is quite nasty if not done properly. This speaks more to the skill of the chef than the allure of the meal.
As with most diet, moderation is important and individual taste may vary.

Still. The just dumb responses with nothing to add to the facts of the world at this time and place are great and the idiot people that just go, YEAH! I won't add anything either just M's. and the world is a equal and racist place.

I have never liked chicken from a taste perspective, although I do appreciate it as a lean source of protein from a health perspective.
But if my previous reply confused you, I'm gonna have to question your brisket expertise.
That said, red meat can impact health negatively. A lot of people who avoid "meat" for whatever reasons are also unhealthy, however, as protein is one of the 3 macronutrients.

Nothing confusing about you telling me I cooked it wrong lol
If you think I missed your point, please elaborate.

Ephesians 6:12 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. Psalm 12:6 The words of the Lord are pure words: as silver tried in a furnace of earth, purified seven times. Hebrews 11:3 Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear. Revelation 3:11 Behold, I come quickly: hold that fast which thou hast, that no man take thy crown.

Still. The just dumb responses with nothing to add to the facts of the world at this time and place are great and the idiot people that just go, YEAH! I won't add anything either just M's. and the world is a equal and racist place.

I didn't tell you that.
You brought up chicken in a thread relating to cattle.
If you personally are against eating red meat, your probably shouldn't focus on brisket as a food source.

It'd either be really funny or really scary.
