evil Weevils

So I recently bought a 50 lb bag of wheat, I hadn't opened it or put it in the plastic tote I use to store grain because I was waiting to use up the last of my old bag. I noticed what I am pretty sure are weevils on the bag, opened it, and there are indeed weevils in the bag. It's now in my grain tote, with the lid latched shut, which should probably keep them from infesting my house too much, but I want to know if there's a way to get them out of my grain. It's a sterilite tote, with a lid that latches, but I doubt it is airtight enough to suffocate them. I am hoping I am wrong about that, but if not has anyone else found a way to deal with weevils?

I can't. I don't mind pressure cooking some weevils, I am just worried about them breeding in there and turning all my grain into weevil shit.

Same thing happened to me a month back when I got 50# of wheat. https://www.shroomery.org/forums/showflat.php/Number/26853928#26853928 I dumped the bag into a couple 5 gallon buckets with plastic lids and put them in the deep freezer. I'm actually pulling them out right now. I'll update with what I find, of course after time goes by for temps to normalize.

hmm. I don't have a deep freeze. Maybe I should start pressure cooking it all, that's gonna take a lot of work though, and honestly probably cost more in electricity than a new bag of wheat would.

Iβve seen a couple people say they just use it like normal with the weevils in there. One guy somehow PCd a jar with a frog hiding in it that I think still colonized fine.
My very first bag of wbs had weevils, there were so many I didnβt want to mess with it though.

Well I had been planning on upping the scale of things. I suppose I should just try to use it all up before it turns into weevil shit.
