Dude....

The world we live in now is one in which people defend a cop pushing an old man to the ground.

If you cant follow context then dont respond.

The cops pushing people around isnt that hard to believe.

Conservatives defending cops who push old men to the ground is.

So you think the cops intentionally pushed him to the ground and cracked his skull?  I'm very confused about your position on this.

You left out the part about the old man approaching the cops after they asked everyone to clear the square, and who waved his hands dangerously close to the cop's weapons (see video).  But I don't expect intellectually honesty from you anymore.

Ok, gotcha

Although i dont remember anyone specifically saying that cops should push old men, but that people should keep their distance from cops. I think that was fal tho, and i didn't take him to be a conservative

I'm not defending police brutality though.  That's you make believing again.  They weren't beating the guy, they pushed him away when he got his hands too close to them as shown in the video, and the fall was an unintended, unfortunate consequence.

Are you with me so far, or can you tell me where we see the police "brutality"?

Yes the cop intentionally pushed him. Did he know guigino would fall? Maybe not
but then he should EXPECT some kind of result. If he falls he needs to accept responsibility
as the one who pushed.

If I fire a round into the air, do I know it's gonna hit someone, no.

If it does hit someone, and they can prove I shot the round, I am still liable
for my actions that led to someone getting hurt.

@MM- nobody said cops should push old men. I said conservatives are defending
the cop for doing it and making excuses for his actions. Thats an example of intellectual dishonesty.

So help me understand your position here.  If a guy walks up to a cop and waves he hands near the cop's weapon, what SHOULD the cop have done?

If you can tell us a better action the cop should have taken when the guy walked up to him and waved his hands near his weapon, I'm all ears.

Anything but pushing over an elderly and clearly defensless person.

Talk to him.
Listen to him.
And then ultimately to clear the space if he still refuses, arrest him.

Assault was not warranted.

If your judgement of threat is so poor that you feel you need to knock an old man to the ground then you shouldn't be allowed to be a cop.
He had 50 cops behind him...the poor dear was just outta options I suppose.

Nope. This conversation is a dead horse and it isnt my job to change your mind

People here can read and form their own opinion based on your posts.
They dont need me to come up with alternatives.

If you cant think of any other response other than pushing him, well, thank god
youre not a public servant

Jesus Nate, sworn to protect includes protecting themselves.  It's a two way street buddy.  Cops dont deserve the hate.  Just like you dont think you do.  Make love not war.

Who was the cop protecting himself from, an unarmed old man?

How ironic that you think I'm the one full of hate:lol:

Hard to hate when you spend everyday in this:

Asking police not to abuse citizens is hardly indicative of being full of hate.

That looks nice, unfortunately it also doesnt give u a good picture of what city dwellers endure daily.  Hey if some fish get killed by some bear, let us know, ok?  I bet you'd be a great source of info in those cases.

Im from a big city originally and denver is just 45 minutes from me. I've actually gone to
the protests myself so I think I'm more of an authority than you.

I wanted to see history 1st hand, not read about it or watch it on youtube.

Ignorance is bliss.

Like it or not these times will be in history books, and when I'm asked my opinion
I can give one based on 1st hand experience and not one based on a youtube video.

The man that was pushed was a well known agitator/"peaceful"-protester. He was doing something with his phone to the officer's equipment. You can see him waving it around in various places for some unknown reason.

The officers didn't like that and pushed him away out of his personal space. The push was justified and it never would have made news if he didn't trip and fracture his skull. A very unfortunate accident where I don't morally blame anyone.

Dude that is not true.

You have proven over and over that you fall for propaganda.

He was in no way using his phone to do anything to his equipment

That was a lie started by OAN and retweeted by trump. Jesus christ this is sad
