That's inspiring. Made an outdoor blewitt bed earlier this summer. Have some more blewitt pasteurized composted manure/HWFP/straw spawn and grain spawn colonizing now. Going to try indoor fruiting and see what happens.

Thanks for the comments...I was certainly excited when I saw them fruiting in sawdust bags!

They stayed in the bags for a looong time...maybe 9 months? But cold seems to be a fruiting trigger, and they colonised pretty quickly, so hopefully the time from colonising to fruiting can be shortened.

Never thought they would fruit on sterile substrate because I figured they liked the microbial environment like wine cap does. Now I want to try it! Thank you for sharing this!
