Spent the morning walking through patches of hundreds of these beauties. Up to my waist in high grass and blackberry bushes, laughing aloud to myself at the sheer joy of finally finding a massive spot. I’ve dreamt of this day... literally.
Left tons behind. Including some photos of the beautiful specimens and a few habitat help photos.
Crazy crazy crazy experience.

Man I would have a good time in that habitat. Awesome shrooms and I am sure you could find many snakes/turtles. Jealous.

I found *hundreds* of Caerulescens today across several new spots in the Henry/Clayton county area. As soon as I can figure out why the site isn't allowing me to upload pictures I will share some pics of the more interesting specimens that I found. So many different phenotypes in such a small area.
Edit: I'm in the process of uploading some pics but here's what I took home. I know haul pics aren't the most interesting, but I will get you some habit pics as soon as I can.

Found a metric fuck ton of gyms today for the first time since learning how to ID them. On a mulch path behind a grocery store. (Dacula)

I'm pretty sure you can find them as far south as Tifton and Albany. Anecdotally, I've spoken to someone who found them in Moultrie, GA.

I'd encourage you to read through these ga actives threads. You'll learn a lot. There's a number of people who've made finds in dekalb and even Henry/butts county.

I definitely do not think this weekend will be too late. I saw so many pins today. Also remember that we have 2.5 or 3 more months left in the season.

Somehow these patches went unnoticed last voyage out. Largest specimens were found hidden beneath sweet gum saplings
