It is nice especially after a failure and not expecting the first bags to do anything to now have a harvest.
One of the tubs alot of fruits started to abort so I harvested it yesterday and have them in the dehydrator but the other one is still looking good

Just had a look at the other tub and some of the caps are starting to wilt 
The veils are tearing on the bigger fruits so I think I will harvest the tub today at some stage.
Forgot to weigh the first harvest wasn't much like. I'll let ya know how the second tub performed

Shit yea!! Those look so good. Looks like ya got the Midas touch for a first timer! I did my first agar and this is what it looks like now.. (sorry the pics aren’t the best)-I need to do my second transfer ASAP. My SP one looks a little sketchy with the orange coloring in the middle but pleased with how the SS looks. Bravo man on your first flush UB tek!

Oh and j-13, I had to toss my 2 UB bags cause they looked too slimy so went for the agar, ha! I’m way behind but puttering along to a first grow. I’m determined man..

My first bags and home made jars went south to. I think the MSS into the bag or anything really is pot luck.
Agar looking good dude one thing I wish I had done was take more transfers from the first plate. I only took one grew it out then started taking multiple transfers from the proceeding plates. Maybe I would have got faster growing strains if I had of done. All my stuff seems to go slow. But hey it is what it is.
You gonna prepare your own grain for the Agar. Keep on at it man, you will have some fruits before ya know it

I made several transfers today yeeeee  I want to eventually make my own grain jars but for now I ordered 2 jars online that are chillin in my pantry. I also saw a Tek on wild birdseed which kinda peaked my interest to make. There is so much info on different methods... I’m totally grateful for the shroomery but at the same time, being a total virgin at my first grow, gonna wing it and try not fuck it up too bad lol. As far as the UB bags and seeing your awesome results, I think I will try that again I will post pics J-13 when that happens fingers crossed. I bet your shrooming it up about now or saving for a rainy day?

My first attempt at jars was with WBS, I used foo man's tek I think it was. They ended up going bad don't know if it was my prep or the MSS. They were looking okay until the shake and then never recovered and when I opened them they had an off smell.
Gonna have to find some time after Xmas and get more agar plates made up, wanna clone a fruit from my last tub and work on it. Then make my own jars again don't like not being able to see the growth in the UB bags lol
Keep us updated with pics on your agar progress dude always good to share notes lol

Quick update on my agar transfer dishes  then going to move the thread to “first agar transfer growth yeeeah noob in action” since it’s not Uncle bens related anymore lol. Would love to see more pics J-13 after Christmas of your stuff! Happy Christmas all

Dunno who exactly needs to read this but I'll just leave here.. Everyone else is just mad cuz they have these whole ass labs. These bags aren't expensive. They don't contam easy. If I grew shrooms for years n spent all this time money and errors just for some kids to come do the same shit with no sab, no pressure cooker, no jars, and no sterilizing their own grains I'd be pissed too.

The cost of these bags for what you get is expensive in my opinion, but OP is just experimenting so it's all good
I don't think anyone is mad people just helping a brother out.

Yeah dude using the UB bags just suits me for the moment I have made my own grain jars before and intend to again in the future. Tesco bags are only 35p so it's nothing cost ways for the convenience. Nothing to get upset about like.
Looking good Atticus9, I'm a bit concerned dude i was hoping my last two tubs would be ready for Xmas as I'm away for four days. Unfortunately they are not I have no choice but to leave them in a dark cupboard fs. Will drop some before and after Xmas pics when I'm back. I'll keep up to date on the new thread bro and merry Xmas everyone.

I agree.. nothing wrong in experimenting w the all in one grow bags (have one left) and I think they work w good technique w trial and error. Still gonna do another UB too for the hell of it and bet it will work like a champ via J-13. So glad I got the advice on agar grow cuz that’s just “the way” no pun intended @mandalorian lol.
