Why agar transfer has fluffy center?

Hey guys, I just did a transfer for a T3 culture, it's LPEU/APEU/PEUW or whatever you want to call it and go with. Anyways, I noticed this one was unlike any other I really I had before: it's seems so fluffy in the middle and center of the whole thing. Yeah my transfers fluffed up on my other grows, but not like this I don't think ever. It could just be me and there is nothing wrong with it whatsoever, but my questions is why does it do that? Or is it maybe because of the recipe of my agar? I do 7.5 grams agar/10 LME/500 mL
So what do you guys think how this is? The edges still look so nice, rhizomorphic, and uniform right?! I’m going to be putting it to grain in a couple more days when it grows out more!!! I actually got my grain PC'ing right now!!!

Did you switch up brands or anything for this pour? I've noticed my mycelium will just "fan out" with tomentose growth solely around the transferred piece if switching from one media to the other.
Also the pour seems to be deep, but I'd let an expert weigh in on that and whether or not it would cause this

Back off the nutrients for your next transfer and see if that helps. theres a genetic factor and an access to energy factor when it comes to a cultures characteristics.
Tomentose myc can produce well, but it can also hide contaminates easier.
If lowering nutes doesn't help then try changing nutrient source

I should still be able to use it for inoculation still right? Still looks very clean to me with rhizo edges... Or I shouldn’t use it for inoculation?

You can.
If you want to be extra safe - inoculate just one jar, then spawn it to a shoebox. Fruit, and clone some good ones.

I would take a transfer then use it and see what happens

I have been taking transfers, this is T3. Every transfer that I did before did the the same thing also.

This is your only hope of making it look different on agar.
I said to make a transfer so you still have myc to work with while your grain jar is colonizing

My plan tonight is to put it grain, but I'm going to cut a big circle around the poofy middle, and just take pizza sliced wedges from the outer perimeter... That's definitely going to take a lot more time up and more room for mistakes since I usually just cut the puck into 4 equal parts right down the middle and use giant quarter pieces. This will be different and tedious cutting the outer perimeter into like pizza slices to drop into my grain.

Cut it into eighths, put the tip of one to agar, then use the rest on grain
