A bike with 200 horse power is probably pretty heavy and won't handle well. I prefer 600cc.

The appeal is that it's a Porsche for people who don't want a little sports car.

It would handle differently. The faster a vehicle is the less sensitive it should be at high speeds. A heavier bike would stop better at identical speeds too for obvious reasons.

LOL. I see your knowledge of bikes is impeccable!!
The bike in question is a 1000cc but - as was touted by the reviews when it first came out - it is roughly the same size as, and handles like, a 600.

Ice9 said: Yeah bikes make lots of HP these days, great in a straight line but contact patch is too small to carry any speed through corners, and God forbid you're tail gating (not saying you do but I see plenty of people on their liter bikes doing this) and I have to jam on my brakes, you'll probably end up in my backseat in the best case scenario. Also, saw a bike rider racing a car down a highway known for a particularly s curved section get high-sided... don't think he survived.
LOL, did you just try and turn this into a cars vs bikes thing because my bike has as much power as your shiny new car?
The reason I brought that up is to lend some weight to the suggestion that you should get more power. I wasn't trying to shame you or one up you or something like that.
Besides, cars vs bikes cannot be argued from a purely technical standpoint. Bikes have a soul and inspire passion and connection in a way that cars just cannot do. True, it takes a certain kind of mindset to dive deep into bikes, but so does taking psychedelics.
I have a bike too, love them though the liter bikes are getting a bit out of control with weight/hp thing, its too much for greater than 99.9% of riders to handle. Also, I got high-sided at like 20 miles an hour when learning to ride lol, landed on m feet and kept my grip, eased of throttle and hopped back on scary.
And yeah I'm a more power guy, but some of those bikes are fucking scary.

I have Blizzaks on my S5. You can't go wrong with the ridiculous amount of traction. From what I've heard, Hakkas will tolerate 'warm' weather driving better so you'll get more out of them if it's your only 4-season vehicle. I'd probably go with them next to try them out, but we're looking to unload the Audi to make way for a Wrangler.
Word of advice: if you get Blizzaks, DON'T swap them early when the weather turns nice in spring thinking you can deal with summers for a few weeks. The scariest drive I've ever had was getting stuck on Peak-to-Peak when the weather turned.
Don't know anything about bikes. My wife is an engineer and worked out the math for me: slugs + motorcycle = death. She went to a good school so I trust her.

Patlal doesn't like Audis, finds the design cues to be boring (they are very conservative in their design languague) I don't think the fact they don't like a particular type of car warrants a personal attack.

Because the world is a very depressing place. Liking the things you listed is very bland and very dangerous.

Audi's are boring looking. Excluding the most modern models they were never far off from a Volvo, a rich suburban soccer mom vehicle. They were always supposed to look low key. I love Audi. I don't think he's wrong..

I dont think they look boring at all
They look like quality cars with very subtle "form follows function" design cues

With the exception of the sport models like the R-series and I don't think they make small cars, they don't look a whole lot different from a Ford or a Honda. They do look more expensive for sure, but only marginally imo. Like look up a ford fusion and then an a4

They both look very much like cars indeed
The Ford is more aggressively styled imo

Yesterday, while in traffic, I saw a Ford Explorer with decal on the back that went like this:

“Ford Tough”
Gave me a laugh.
