The microdose can amplify your underlying & unresolved emotions. Around certain people you can get "edgy". Take some time to consciously explore why do you feel edgy. Keep doing the microdoses and you will discover lots about yourself, heal, and discover that it is actually helping you in many ways. If you feel edgy it's because that's already what is inside you that needs to get purged.
Good luck with your transformation!
I feel like this is underrated advice. I used to eat mushrooms frequently for the recreational side, but I never accomplished anything towards resolving my anxiety or depression because I wasn't exploring it (it wasn't even the point). Lean into those feelings, try and understand what they are and where they're coming from. Rinse and repeat.

Yes, completely agree with you. To OP, what we have said here was stated overly-simplified. Like fingers pointing to the moon, our Friend, we have very simply given you a tremendous insight... if you are willing to explore consciously what otherwise might not be that comfortable to look at.

This resonated a lot with me.
I had some rough days this last week and they came after the start of my first time experimenting with microdosing. I thought maybe it was the microdoses that were making me feeling antsy. But the more I looked into my feelings the more I realised it was me not processing some elements of my current situation. Even typing this out is making the whole thing clearer. I feel like even with microdoses I have had aspects of myself "shown" to me. I will admit that part of me was looking at microdosing as a silver bullet, but in reality it has provided a very subtle light being shone on myself allowing me to work through, let go of, or confront whatever is going on in me.
I know this thread is old, hopefully posting this was ok?

IMO psychedelics in a mental health setting are more of a tool than a medication. While they can provide assistance it’s up to the individual themselves to put in the work.

That also appears to be one of the reasons that it has been difficult to gain acceptance in the fields of psychology and pharmacology. The action of the medicine does not directly “treat” the disease. It is used as a treatment aid. Ketamine treatments are gaining traction in treatment resistant depression and there are the mdma assisted ptsd studies under way. But this is a pretty major shift in the medical paradigm so there is resistance from more traditional groups. And of course the cynic in me has to acknowledge that there is not much profit in cures as compared to life long treatments.

Couldn't have said it better. Everything in a mental health setting is just to give someone the tools; they actually have to put the tools to work.
