Im not sure who is behind the divisiveness in our country brother, but judging from the religions of the CEO of 90% of the "media" corporations in this country you may be right.

What happened to our civilized discussion/ debate?
Did the masses come to a unified conclusion? Did RSM have it coming or was shooter ready and willing to shoot anyone that opposed him and RSM just so happened to be in his destructive path?
Did anyone find out why RSM was chasing shooter to begin with? Where was RSMs crew? Wasn't he hiding and barking behind a group of guys?
I dunno... I guess I'm late once again... Some updates would def tickle my fancy.

Thats the most questionable part of the video to me. What led up to the first shooting. I dont believe for a second this kid was just gunning people down.

My guess is that it's because Rittenhouse was away from his group at that point. Don't think any new footage has come up showing the moments immediately before the video in which Rittenhouse is already being chased by Rosenbaum. There are some new videos of later events though.

More than likely, but at this point it's all speculation and assumptions.
I know it's not going to happen, but it would great if someone whom was there came out and gave us their account.

I don't know if I would agree that that's not going to happen. More video would be better. But yeah there is not enough info currently to paint a full picture. The "Shoot me nigga" video suggests Rosenbaum was itching for some kind of escalation earlier though.

From the court document shivas posted in the other thread it looks like reporter Richard McGinnis is a key eyewitness so far.
Quote:
Detective Cepress interviewed McGinnis and indicates the following: Before the shooting, McGinnis was interviewing the defendant. The defendant told McGinnis that he was a trained medic. McGinnis stated that he (McGinnis) has handled many ARs and that the defendant was not handling the weapon very well. McGinnis said that as they were walking south another armed male who appeared to be in his 30s joined them and said he was there to protect the defendant. McGinnis stated that before the defendant reached the parking lot and ran across it, the defendant had moved from the middle of Sheridan Road to the sidewalk and that is when McGinnis saw a male (Rosenbaum) initially try to engage the defendant. McGinnis stated that as the defendant was walking Rosenbaum was trying to get closer to the defendant. When Rosenbaum advanced, the defendant did a “juke” move and started running. McGinnis stated that there were other people that were moving very quickly. McGinnis stated that they were moving towards the defendant. McGinnis said that according to what he saw the defendant was trying to evade these individuals.
McGinnis described the point where the defendant had reached the car. McGinnis described that the defendant had the gun in a low ready position. Meaning that he had the gun raised but pointed downward. The butt of the gun would have been at an angle downwards from the shoulder. McGinnis stated that the defendant brought the gun up. McGinnis stated that he stepped back and he thinks the defendant fired 3 rounds in rapid succession. McGinnis said when the first round went off, he thought it hit the pavement. McGinnis felt something on his leg and his first thought was wondering whether he had gotten shot. McGinnis was behind and slightly to the right of Rosenbaum, in the line of fire, when the defendant shot.
McGinnis stated that the first round went into the ground and when the second shot went off, the defendant actually had the gun aimed at Rosenbaum. McGinnis stated he did not hear the two exchange any words. McGinnis said that the unarmed guy (Rosenbaum) was trying to get the defendant’s gun. McGinnis demonstrated by extending both of his hands in a quick grabbing motion and did that as a visual on how Rosenbaum tried to reach for the defendant’s gun. Detective Cepress indicates that he asked McGinnis if Rosenbaum had his hands on the gun when the defendant shot. McGinnis said that he definitely made a motion that he was trying to grab the barrel of the gun. McGinnis stated that the defendant pulled it away and then raised it. McGinnis stated that right as they came together, the defendant fired. McGinnis said that when Rosenbaum was shot, he had leaned in (towards the defendant).
McGinnis stated that after the defendant shot he ran back towards the hospital towards the middle of the road. McGinnis stayed and turned his attention to Rosenbaum. McGinnis stated that he then heard other shots really soon after.

That's a very good point. I never actually thought about that.

This is a pretty good break down from lawyer who's changed their mind after reviewing all the footage...
This is by far the best compilation I found of the vides in real time as the events happened...

The first line of the police statement is all you need to know: the city was under curfew. That’s it. All his potential self defense claims evaporate.
Someone explained this in very easy to understand terms. You can only claim self defense if trouble comes to you. You can’t go looking for troubles.
People need to stop looking for excuses to defend cold blooded murder

So basically after curfew you're not aloud self defense it evaporates away you have to let people hurt and kill you without retaliation? I doubt this is the case, I'm not saying the kid is going to walk away clean but his actions were in self defense so murder charges wont hold but yes in terms of breaking curfew etc. those charges will hold.

Also open carry isn't looking for trouble if that were the case it would be illegal.
I don't feel sorry for anyone shot chasing after a person with a gun expecting them to hand it over and be a punching bag, the police wont even do that they will seek cover and take out the threat.
Link a clip and timestamp where the kid went looking for trouble...

Open carry is not looking for trouble, being out after curfew isn't looking for trouble though illegal, self defense isn't looking for trouble. Ignoring curfew doesn't mean you can't defend yourself...
