Thank you, do you let the grains cool off or dry before loading them into the jars?

Try shining a bright light against the sides of each jar and look close. Look at them in a dark room so you can see only the jar capeche?

You should soak overnight and simmer 10 minutes a 45 minute simmer probably killed off nutrients in the grains. It's like cooking vegetables too long.

I dont soak any more. Rye is my grain of choice. No soak, no rinse... straight boil til plump.
Those grains coulda been boiled a few minutes longer.

Even the organic rye berries are covered in factory mill dust. I think a soak is beneficial to a hard boil because it's about water retention inside the grain. Can't promise a hard boil will allow the grains to fully hydrate.
Since you're a trusted cult I'm assuming you don't use syringes to inoculate. For the amateurs out there a rinse, soak, simmer probably helps their chances of success.

Is it worth continuing to wait on those jars? Or should I get rid of them or re-soak/boil/PC?

Did you look at each jar in a dark room with a flashlight right next to the jar? If you need a microscope to see spores seeing any initial growth will take some up close inspection. Or check them in a week and report back.

Yes I check the jars and I did find one spot of growth (which I think is mycelium correct me if I am wrong) but it was only in one jar. So I will give it another week I guess

watch my man RR video "lets grow mushrooms" grain prep video. Your grains look dry but can't do much about it now. If they really are too dry the growth will stall I reckon. Next time try RR with grains.
