Pins on plates, pins in jars, NO PINS in tubs. :(

I'm having trouble, and I don't know where I'm going wrong.

Been trying to grow cubes for 7 months (not exaggerating) and only had 1 successful flush.

I feel like the shrooms are having a laugh, lol.

They will pin and grow on the plates.

They will pin and grow in the jars (the two, that I forgot about), didn't even fully colonize, but started to pin.

But they won't pin in the tubs - they won't even fully colonize. Just stall mid colonization.

Here is my process:

(all steps done in a SAB)

1. Beautiful, rizomorphic wedges, from CLEAN agar plates, that have no visible contamination, goes into my pressure cooker sterilized for about 2 hours grain jars. (I've tried with both Millet and Ryeberries)

2. The grains have been soaked for 24 hours, and when they come out from the pressure cooker, I let them cool down (for 24 hours) before putting in the wedges.

3. I will wait, until everything is fully colonized, and then a few more days.

4. Next I prep the coir with verm. I basically cook it at 160F for 2 hours. Coir + verm + hot water. Goes into a cooler and I just let it sit there for 24 hours. (Thermometer never goes above 170F.

5. When the coir is room temperature, I will pull it out of the coller, and mix it with the grain jars, using roughly 1:4 ratio. The jars smell just like mushrooms, no visible or smellable contam.

6. It will grow for a few days, but then it will stall and not grow. The room temperature is around 74F. These are unmodified tubs.

The end. No more growth. I've literally tried everything that I can think of.

I'm out of ideas, what I'm doing wrong here.
