Hello! This is my first post but i keep the track of this forum one year ago. I dont post because I dont know english.
I put here this science post of Psychedelic Review that blow my mind:
https://psychedelicreview.com/cultivating-p-cubensis-light-and-tryptophan-are-key-for-controlling-psilocybin-levels/
It says "No light and low tryptophan leads to higher levels of psilocybin" "Gartz observed that increasing the tryptamine concentration in a cow dung-rice growing medium increased the psilocin content from 0.09% to 3.3% of the dried mushroom weight compared to controls."
What do you think? Is better without light? (or minimun)
Regards!

Ok, so I read the original paper and you have to notice that increase psilocin but decreased psilocybin.
You can check here: https://pdfs.semanticscholar.org/e648/5b3f89815404f8e0912507aa693a68f27f80.pdf
"Table 1 Variation of psilocybin and psilocin levels in Psilocybe cubensis as a function of flush number from the cultivations with (a) and without (b) addition of tryptamine (25 mM concentration).
Flush no. Psilocin Psilocin Psilocybin Psilocybin a b a b 1. 2.1 ----- 0.01 0.55 2. 3.3 0.01 0.02 0.48 3. 2.8 0.02 0.2 0.51 4. 3.1 0.09 0.07 0.46 5. 2.9 0.15 0.13 0.61 These psilocin levels are uncommonly high (from 2.1 to 3.3%) since values reported for psilocin in dried mushrooms are always below 1% (1-4,12,13)."
And I have to ask... I thought that psilocin it goes to 0 when you dry the mushroom... am I wrong?

Ive always thought drying them destroys psilocin too.
Those things would be brutal fresh though. Probably hit you like tea just from eating them.
