RW knotting and pinning or something else...?

Never grown RW before.
I thought it was starting to knot up in prep for pinning but it looks a bit suspect to me

So far every stage has had me kinda raising one eye brow a bit
I guess its the look of the *third pic mostly and that box looked just like the others before swelling a bit more in white blobbery

Looks alright. Looks like it dried a bit too much causing those certain spots to try and recilonize. keep an eye on it, mist it lightly, more frequently. it should flush

Field capacity is an important factor in how much you need to mist. If colonized too dry it will struggle to do anything with it. It similar to when you get a sunburn and turn to leather

Yeah the sub was good but i usually add some verm just for the top layer to make it a bit fluffier
This time i didnt mix it in and i sprinkled some verm on top because i didnt wana change my sub, added the sub on top and leveled it out together for a top layer
Oh well
Seems to be going good, i guess i justfelt like the third pic went from looking like the other ones to having this more blobby look to where i would expect my pins to start forming
Wasnt sure if that is normal or maybe happens for RW
Ive noticed RW seems to be rather different from the variety i had before
But i grew just that same one for years so i kinda got used to and aquainted with it
Appreciate ya replies

Seems like its starting to matt up a bit?
All the tubs kinda going from what the top of the pic looks like to having these splotches like the bottom of the pic
I flipped the kids on my dubs thinking they need a bit more air

Poor surface conditions is what’s the problem. Those are trying hard to knot up but the fluctuations in RH are not doing any favours. If you mist it everyday to keep conditions up it’s going to get matted and die. Looks like good fruiting genetics in there but the chamber is failing. Those tubs are riding the verge of dry af in every pic. They are not liking it.

Every time i check them they have droplets of water though
I might snap the lids back and see if that helps i guess
I thought it was matting like that due to high humidity so i flipped the lids
I have them in a large closet where air is rather limited so it stays pretty humid

Matting is from drying out. I don’t mist tubs more than once or twice before harvest. Misting twice a day is asking for problems, your riding a razors edge. This is closer to how I prefer my surface conditions to look, maybe it’s a touch to the wet but i would take it over too dry.

That later became this
