Just sounds like adding fuel to the fire to me. The bottle isnt sterile so you shouldn't put it over your lc...
You said you havent been on the boards for 7 years. In that time nobody even suggests using it anymore. In fact, when i started 5 years ago, several trusted cultivator's suggested it has no use in the hobby

John in WI said: I wasn't on this forum for around 8 years, and in that time I forgot what to search for! I'm thinking of messing around with it myself. To make an LC with spores directly to solution, then trying to kill bacteria/fungal spores with H2O2 afterwards. I've never had success using spores or spore solution directly to LC, regardless of how long I pressure cooked the solution. The problem (for me) is not infected LC solution--it's infected spores. Every spore print or solution are contaminated. They grow in dirty environments. Some do have some success going spores to grain, but that is very dicey too.
I'm following this thread and will try and find the peroxide tek.
It might be possible to take your mycellium solution, even if it's contaminated, and put it on agar and clean it up that way? Or perhaps you could go with your mycellium solution to PF cakes, and clean it up like that. The brown rice flour on vermiculite is supposed to give bacteria a very rough time. Something to think about.
I hope the Seller i have bought the Syringe in the Netherlands have Clean stuff i think so hopefully.. My LC looks OK to today but i fear that step also. I have lost 1 of my 6 Jars with Rye and i inject Spores direct in the jars I have success with oyster 3 years ago with that technique but maybe with that species it will fail but hope is there.
I will try the Agar method tomorrow but how much cc drops on it at this early stage? Ore waiting a week for more colognising in the LC?

Again OP, your LC isnt ready to do ANYTHING yet. When you see clouds form, thats when you can use it. You only need 1 drop of LC on the agar (.01ml). LESS is better, not more.
If you are getting impatient, this might not be the hobby for you. You can do it tomorrow, but i feel you chances aren't as good as waiting another 5-7 days.
My opinion, forget you got lucky 3 years ago with the oyster. Unlearn that lol. Move forward and use agar properly.

Oyster is a whole different thing too. It’s much more aggressive and contam resistant. Plus I’m pretty sure most places only sell lc to start with.
But yeah starting from spore is going to take longer because it has to germinate first. I’d wait another 4 days minimum and reassess.

I thought you were just buying a stack of pre made plates off Amazon which is why I only suggested buying those simple accessories. I get pre made plates cause I only need like 25 max a year for my needs.

You can use lots of stuff. I guess dogfood agar used to be common. You could probably just add sugar to the agar also.
