Hello. Yesterday I posted about a mysterious yellow growth in my monotub that I can not identify from any searches or research. The pics i included were taken BEFORE I wiped away the yellow. Does anyone have any idea what the yellow could be if it wiped away so easily and is no longer visible? I have read that this could have been bruised/stressed/dry mycelium. Is it possible that I can continue my tub with the healthy white mycelium. My gut feeling tells me if it wiped away so easily it could be some type of metabolite byproduct? I really have no clue I really am just trying to figure it out. Any input at all will be helpful. Thank you in advance.

yes! did your tub still fruit? and is it too risky to try to fan it to dry it out?

The color looks funky in the pics like its a contam. If you sucked up yellow from extra water usually you get a matted looked mycelium left behind. It can turn bluish like bruising. Your one picture looks almost pink tho.
