Growing in Egypt 2

This is a documentation of my journey to grow psilocybin mushrooms with very limited resources, in a North African Muslim country.
Late March - May I've done a lot of research, it looked easy enough. I tried to reach out to many Egyptian psychonauts some of which were extremely friendly and helpful. My first challenge was, surprisingly enough, my parents. In Egypt it's painfully unacceptable to move out unless it's to get married, which leaves me a 21 yo loser living with my parents. I convinced mom I was going to buy an "exotic" strain of mushrooms to cultivate and gain profit off it, she totally bought it!
May - Mid July This is where I get serious about this. I begin to grasp the fact that there is no way I can get spores directly anywhere in my country, until I get a text from a fellow Egyptian psychonaut and cultivator. Now, this fella convinced me he's a pro at this, and that he's got tons of prints just lying around patiently waiting to fall in the hands of the Cool Stoner Chick ( ). I was mesmerized, Allah himself has reached out to me and he is a kid offering free prints. I waited on him for about two months until he just.. disappeared. Aside from my boyfriend's shit eating grin (his words "nothing's for free" still echo in my head), I was still optimistic and hopeful. I was in the process of setting up a PayPal only to find another fellow mushroom cultivator reaching out. Now, this guy looked promising. Long story short, I almost got kidnapped, but rejoice as I have obtained my first syringe!
July - Now My only option was to go for a PF Tek since 1) I don't have a pressure cooker and 2) I couldn't find micropore tape anywhere. I nocced up 3 jars only to find the ridiculously low quality syringe had leaked most of the solution out as I was noccing up the third jar. That last one showed no signs of life (alas, this will be proved otherwise later on) while the other two were fiercely growing. They stalled up and then slowed to a crawl, until one of the died out and i had to bury it in one of my flower pots (fingers crossed). Today, I decided to finally clean that jar that never colonized, which leads me up to the most terrifying moments of my life and the reason I've decided to share this story. I open it up, slam it and look at its contents inside. It's pretty green and moldy, understandable. What is NOT understandable was the colony of maggots I found taking residence in what should've been my myc's lands. Yesterday, I was not a man who had to put handfuls of maggots into a plastic bag. Now, my last jar resides very closely monitored almost at 90%. I noticed a bit of black on the side of which I hope is only myself going blind in some spots.

I'm glad you didn't get kidnapped, be careful out there with the internet strangers.
Hope your last jar works out: if you get some fruiting then you can make spore prints and try again.
Maggots sounds pretty extreme... how did you prepare your jars? Did you use a SAB?

Yes, I did actually. I forgot to mention that i didn't exactly inoculate that last jar, but because the needle broke off I had to basically dump the solution from the jar holes. Yeah, didn't expect it to go very well

Hey, where did you find spores in Egypt? Can you please help me out here, I thinking about importing spore print, but scared as hell of the customs.
So please help me out here if you can.
P.s I will (probably) not gonna kidnap you.

Do not lie to your mother like that. Especially if you are doing something in her home that is seriously illegal in your country. That is so not cool.

Who is but the form following the function of what and what I am is a man in a mask. Evey Hammond: Well I can see that. V: Of course you can. I'm not questioning your powers of observation I'm merely remarking upon the paradox of asking a masked man who he is”
