My first time growing B+! I'm still relatively a newbie, so I am excited that I even got this much this time! I just got a hold of a pressure cooker as well, so hopefully my future efforts will have better turn out.

This is MS->BRF->Coir/Verm. I had 5 half-pint jars initially but got cut down to 3 due to contams (hopefully pressure cooker will be helpful in fixing this issue as I was just doing steam sterilization with a large pot before) and I believe I did a 1:1.5 ratio in regards to the substrate. I will definitely be printing some of these guys in the 2nd or third flush and start doing agar work!

I really like the umbos on these guys!

more FAE an light. B+ is supposed to be dwarfish at first and then get bigger as they flush, these look starved for air. Check my Journal for more info, theres a B+ log there i think you'll benefit from. First 2 pics in my sig are B+ use them as an example.

What happens if you shut off your light for a few days while it’s flushing ? Anyone have experience with this ?

Size and shape, they may be longer reaching to find the light. I've shut my light off for a week to go camping and when I got home there was a perfectly good flush waiting.

Pretty much exactly what I was wondering. I have my light in a closet on a 12/12 timer but sometimes have to go away for 2-5 days and don’t want to leave my light on when I’m gone. I may be in the middle of some flushes though and It helps to know that it didn’t affect your flush too much.

Yeah usually fruits grown without proper light timing become taller, skinnier, and the stems will be more hollow.
Potency is unaffected.

Ah, I'm sad to learn that they are quite shitty looking now. Well, I'll see what I can do for the second flush! I have been having issues with both FAE and lighting, so I will need to experiment more. Thank you very much for your input. It helps to know what they should look like for sure! I appreciate it.

Depends how dark the room is if it's still light enough that you can see clearly in the room for a good portion of the day  pretty much nothing, if it's completely dark all day you'll get some weird looking shit

Don't tear yourself down mate.
Those are some beautiful fruits and worth taking a spore print for agar.
I'm sure they're potent too so enjoy. You just gotta watch your fruiting conditions

Gotta say I am loving whatever mutation happened in my LC. The fruits at the front are exactly what I was looking for. Small caps which drop very little spore, fat meaty stipes and they grow pretty consistent. Weighty fuckers considering the amount from a flush, the smaller fruits are to the rear. The fruits dry white with golden caps. Colonizes like a lightning bolt too.

Going to keep this genetic line going and take prints.

Is that a gt clone?? I know I’ve seen it before it’s got a unique look.

Not cult but I just found this on my nightstand so I won’t be sleeping anytime soon.

First time finding one. Some fun facts: it’s the most venomous type, the only kind that climbs, and is known to live in packs of up to 30.

:uhoh:

Its a striped bark scorpion. A picture of the back and id tell you for sure but they are common in my home. I've seen hundreds.  I've been stung over 12 times and only have them controlled not conquered. I only see 4 or so a year now.

Wont hurt you.

Just pisses you off. Felt like I took a Valium once. It hurts. Less than a wasp but it last longer. The area goes numb unless they hit a vein...then the valium effect..no shit. But its nothing to lose sleep over.

Amazon literally just dropped off my uv flashlight, I’m about to go sweep the yard for the little fuckers.

I wouldn’t mind them outside but it freaks me out it was six inches from my face while I was half asleep. And they’re tiny. The pics of babys that fit on a penny are terrifying.

Good to know it’s not that bad though. I saw causes pain vomiting and possibly paralysis of the limb for 1-3 days and shit my pants.

2 months in and getting my first decent natalensis pins.

I've seen a bunch of striped bark scorpions when I lived in south Texas..... but they had stripes.

I think its an Arizona bark scorpion. The most venomous scorpion in North America... but still not usually deadly to adult humans

If you put your bed posts inside pales or cans of water, you'll keep them out of bed. It'll keep most wingless crawlers out. Cheers

The scorpion babies are terrifying. The female is covered in babies its crazy. They all have to die.... I got some Mediterranean geckos from a nearby Louisiana town they have infested  and moved 40 out to my house. I released them and now they rule. They love to eat scorpions. I was seeing several a week. Years later now maybe 4 a year.  Only one this year...inside.

Better not tell too many people or you will see them in herds roaming the desert picking up the little fucker and jamming their tails into their veins just to catch a nod.
