Watch Wubby break it down guys.
Its fucked up, and anyone who is defending it hasn't watched it or is a pedo.
The filming style and where the shots are focused is super weird, for example.

That guy looks like a pedo himself. The fact is if you have a young girl they're going to dress like a whore even if you're an authoritarian dickhead parent. If you actually saw the movie you'd know why it was made and wouldn't be so triggered. Maybe parents should start teaching their kids how to be safer and more aware. Especially of the people outraged by this movie, because they're probably the pedos.

It's almost like they want parents to see what a pedo sees. What's funny is the fucking child actors understood that too. Maybe parents will think twice before buying their kids new miniskirts even if they whine about it. Who knows

Would your brother let his kids go to school in the shit they wear in the movie? Is he okay with them popping their pussies for teacher when they get to school? Is it okay if teacher watches them or should he send them to the office, then they get suspended or expelled for being retards..? Sorry what's realistic there? You guys are not living in reality. Heads up your own damn asses.

That's really the point that these dudes are missing. They think child actors are just manipulated and tricked into doing something for the camera. The reality is that these actors spend a lot of time working on the role. Probably more than many adult actors do. Dollars to doughnuts, if any of those actors came in this thread, they'd understand the problem and process of sexualization better than any of us.
This isn't new, though. A couple of decades ago, a version of Lolita was made with Jeremy Irons. Dominique Swain, the girl who played the title role, was 15 at the time. People were up in arms about the sexual content of the movie. She, on the other hand, was fucking brilliant at the role despite her age. Some people see art and get outraged. Sometimes, that's the point of the art. I admire art for its ability to make people feel.

But none of that happened to these actors. Why are you making shit up?

Consent to do what, exactly? Play a role? None of these girls were actually sexually exploited. You do know that, right?

Ooooh I get it now. Shit like Maxim, Sports Illustrated. They're for the articles. Totally not sexual. If they're dancing provocatively then yeah its sexual exploitation.

Those aren't actors. Those are models. They are often hired for their ability to titillate the viewer. They are intentionally sexualized for the purpose of making guys want to look at them. These girls are playing a role. Frankly, they're playing the victim role in the movie. When there is a movie about a rape, someone has to play the rape victim. When there is a movie about murder, someone plays the murder victim. When there is a movie about the sexualization of young girls, someone has to play the victim. That doesn't mean that the movie is sexualizing girls any more than "The Accused" is raping Jodie Foster.
What part of that do you not understand?
They could have picked a middle aged karen to play the victims, but you'd find it laughable. Instead, they picked girls that looked vulnerable so that you'd be outraged. It appears to have worked.

So you take your daughters to the beach. They're 10-15 years old and you bought them two piece bikinis because they screamed about it and wanted to feel like grown ups. Turns out there's a grown up on the beach and that guy has a hidden camera. He goes home and beats off to your kids playing tag and making sand castles.
This movie is no worse than that and if anything might actually help change those situations for the better through awareness.

The points being made in this thread are some of the most mind-bogglingly terrible points ive ever seen anybody make in any conversation ever. I am genuinely just flustered at this thread.

People here appear to be triggered by the movie because they think it might turn some pedos on (though my guess is that pedos would be disappointed by this movie, because they can do better with things like Jock Sturges, or illegal porn, for example).
Were any of the girls harmed in any way in the making of this movie?
I doubt it - in fact, their paychecks probably just got a WHOLE LOT BIGGER thanks to all the extra people watching the movie now, and their fame just grew considerably helping them boost their careers if they want to stay in acting.
So why the outrage if these girls weren't harmed? They were just acting, as Enlil noted.
-------------------- I am in a minority on the shroomery, as I frequently defend the opposing side when they have a point about something or when my side make believes something about them. I also attack my side if I think they're wrong. People here get very confused by that and think it means I prefer the other side.
