If I were to get some cow dung would it be possible to grow more from one of these or is that not how it works?

You could swab lamellae and do few agar plates with that.

But depends. If they were dried in dehydrator maybe spores are dead. Maybe not, never tried dehydrator dried stuff to revive. There is a chance that spores are fine, given how life is generally more resilient that many think.

If spores are viable than it solely depends on your growing experience and skill level.

Most people at hobby level, Id guess, would have hard-ish time to pull it off. Even if viable they would probably took some cleanup work to separate from contams.

edit - its probably possible but its more complicated than jut getting cow dung and droping mushies into it. :smile:
