The next home of counter culture? * 1
    #26889475 - 08/20/20 05:46 AM (3 years, 5 months ago)

You know the times and places; Tangier in the early 50s, San Francisco mid 60s, Los Angeles in the early 80s, Bristol in the early 90s so on. Where's the place to be in the 2020s and why?

It’s gotta be somewhere in Oregon or Washington.  Those places are dope AF but have gone totally hippyish in some spots IMO

I hear they trashed the place.  Washington st was on my list to visit and possibly live for years but as time has gone on it’s just gotten shittier and shittier from what I hear.  It’s such a beautiful patch of land, people should be more interested in keeping it clean.

I would venture a guess that Oregon is similar to some degree.  Hopefully not..

I would say Denver area currently leads the USA for counter culture stuff.

Id be amazed if anywhere in the US will have a strong gravitational pull of free thought like we've seen in past places in time especially seeing how everyone is acting currently. It'll be somewhere visually inspiring for sure but probably a country that has seen a civil war in the last 50 years and is more concerned about its people being happy and cared for rather than seen as voters and tax income. Maybe somewhere isolated and fresh. Maybe somewhere currently undergoing a transformation.

Hahaha that shit was halarious Asante. But social media can bite the big one. I don't see techno lust being a part of the next movement.

It was last month in my basement.  It was one hell of a party.  You missed out.
