Dreams come true?

Has anybody ever had a dream and then one day that dream actually became a reality?
One time I had this dream about my flatmate and I getting raided by a police helicopter over the top of our house (weed grow op raid), and the very next day a helicopter the exact same distance and over our house happened for real? Like what happened in my dream. But it turned out in reality somebody was on the run from probation and they was on the manhunt for him (which was directly behind my house).... How odd is it that I had a dream the night before of that exact helicopter moment happening the next day?
If you have had similar dream experiences share some stories!

This is crazy I see a thread like this today. but last night I had a dream about an old friend of mine that I hadn't heard from in some time. I wake up to a snap message from them. Clearly not on same level but I was certainly flabbergasted. I've had small things like this happen before and I've just chalked it up to mere coincidence. In your case idk if i could lol

I will tell you about an experience I had that still seems like it was yesterday.
This was in 1995. I was walking on a beach in France with some of my friends, among some large boulders with the sea lapping up onto the beach at sunset. It was idyllic. And then I was hit by a sledge hammer.
I had experienced this scene, down to the minutest detail, before in a dream. I saw everything exactly as it was in the present, what people were saying, the configurations of the boulders, the total scene. I had, one hundred percent, seen these moments before.
The experience lasted for about a minute, then normalcy returned. I have never forgotten this, and it was the only time in my life that I had a deja-vu that was 100% real. I had seen it before. I still don't know what it was all about, and why something like that only happened once, but I am convinced I had seen the future in the previous dream. There is no doubt in my mind.

Not that odd. I couldn't say the exact probability, but helicopters fly a lot. Are you absolutely sure it was the same type of helicopter? Memories are pretty mutable, dreams especially so.
Also, it doesn't really sound like your dream came true, just that your dream shared one common element with the following day -- a helicopter.

It was too the T the EXACT helicopter. Even the manor I went outside to look up in the sky. everything was exact from my dream, even the helicopter drone sound, right down to the last color it had on the helicopter.
@Divided that is some deep deja-vu for sure.

Yes, definitely. Classic example of a Precognitive dream. Precognition is a Psi-function and often occurs via dreams.

I think deja vu and dreams are pretty strongly linked. Ever sit back and think about how many dreams we just immediately forget about? Most of them just fade away within minutes.
As a man with some rather out there dreams on the regular I wonder how my mind comes up with that volume of new material at such a rapid pace.

When deja vu, the feeling one has been someplace or done something before has occurred when in fact one has not, is likely a form of clairvoyance - knowing something without the intermediary assistance of the senses. So, one reads about somebody walking down a street about to make a turn, having a moment of Deja vu and exclaiming, for example, 'Hey, when I turn this corner there's Betty's Bakery and a lovely used book store next to it, etc., etc.,' and when he turns the corner, voila! Correct! Yet, one has in truth never been there before.
I have had terrible, realistic nightmares from which I awakened to question whether I had in fact done the heinous thing that I dreamed and forgotten it. I had three such dreams in recent years with diminishing affect but the first time it really rattled me for a while after waking up even though I never murdered, dismembered, and buried someone that was in danger of being unearthed. It seems it was a theme from at least a couple of TV dramas I had watched.
Sometimes clairvoyance occurs in reverie states, Theta-wave hypnogogic or hypnopompic states that precede or follow deep Delta-wave sleep. Or again, in illness clairvoyance can occur but is often dismissed as delirium, dream, or hallucination. One classic example of such clairvoyance occurred to the philosopher Emmanuel Swedenborg concerning his vision of a huge conflagration in Stockholm some 300 miles from where he was located. https://buzzesque.com/swedenborg-and-the-fire/
