How Many Monotubs Can Be Managed At Once?

How many monotubs have you maintained at once? And was it reasonable or hectic?
I remember harvest times were a bit hectic with 16+ at any given time, but I've also read people maintaining more than double that.

Very individual question. 1. How motivated / dedicated are you? 2. Is it full time? 3. What equipment do you have? 4. Have a flow hood? 5. Do you travel a lot? 6. How big is your dehydrator /
Need to stagger tubs, 15 a week, on a rotation basis, manageable, but you won't be getting out much, lol
Only you can answer your own question...
Boils down to dedication, all I can say...

Cruel...
It's been 7 years since I've done this. I remember wiping veils for hours because I'd wait too long. Now I'm willing to wipe some veils but I'd rather just pluck these bad boys early enough, and still have time to sleep at night.
Interestingly enough, like Tstone said, I intend on doing 15/week. Sounds doable and not utterly devastating.

So 50 on rotation per week and a lot of stimulants.
I think 15 on rotation is feasible. Sounds fun. You know, so much has changed, and I'm reading everything and some TEKs just don't seem popular.
Like what happened to that slurry TEK? I made it and absolutely sucked at blending my WBS, but in theory it's fantastic. Even better if you use a cake instead I'm sure.

Please explain about wiping veils? Unsure what you mean about spending hours wiping veils.

Dude, I'm just gonna be blunt:
I wouldn't do anything in bulk without a tried and tested clone culture, all I'm gonna say.

I run like 20 monos a month, pretty much all MS Stropharia and MS Texas Orange Cap. Currently on a 31 tub spree of full canopies. I recommend getting those genetics, they are imho the best MS out there. Most all my grows I've posted over the years have been MS of those two, including my sig.

They released all the spores, and weren't pretty enough for the people. So I would meticulously wipe them with many damp paper towels to give them some semblance of their former golden caps.
Looking the Stropharia and Texas Orange up right now, never heard of either.
This was the slurry method thread. Boy was it fun to read. I remember going through something like 40 pages before trying it out.

50+ isnt unfathomable at all.
you must stagger the harvest. have to aim for about 10 per day. you need room to dry all that shit. it takes time to harvest, and at that level, you better be lifing your substrate and liner out of your monotub; takes twice as long trying to harvest shrooms while in monotub.

Indeed. I was going to make some simple bottom plates with strong string coming from all 4 corners. Simple lift, harvest, and drop it back in there with no breaks. Could work with a custom cut plastic, and maybe economical from somewhere like here.

I just lift mine out with a shoebox lid and harvest with an electric knife. Takes about 5 minutes total per tub.

What do you know, that's 8-hours of construction saved.
