first flush... now what?

So I just harvested my first flush... got about 118 grams wet, which I'm happy with as my spawn and substrate weren't the best.
Now what though? I have a couple stragglers that seems to have grown a bit in the last 24 hours since harvest... should I let them go or pull now?

and I've read about dunking the substrate, then drain and wait for 2nd flush... any tips/advice on doing that?
thanks in advance

dunk the whole substrate for 3-5 hours (3 is best in my opinion) and then just put it right back into fruiting conditions. Those extra little mushrooms you can pick now if it makes dunking the substrate easier or you can just leave them and pick them individually when they mature.
To dunk your cake just fill the sides of the tray with water. Then siphon the water out when done

It looks like they need more air.
I wouldn’t bother with dunking it yet, it should be fine after a 120g flush. Maybe spray it down with the mister tomorrow if you want.

I don't "dunk" anymore anyway. I'll pour a pint or 2 around the sub, it drinks it all so i dont need to drain.

I'm pretty new to all this, what makes you say it looks like they need more air?

The cones of myc at the base. It could be genetic or something else because the two mushrooms left on there don’t look like they’re stretching but that’s my guess.
Did the ones you harvested all have that too?

hmm that's a good question... I didn't notice offhand but I'm certainly not experienced enough to know what I'm looking at... yet!

well I went with @tryptkaloids no-dunk method... just poured about 1.5 pints of water into the substrate and let it roll... just harvested 113 grams on the 2nd flush.
Less number of fruits but they were much beefier.
Might try dunking it and going for a 3rd!

Ya dunk every time ppl will say you don't need to dunk on the second flush witch is true if u want a bad low yeildimg second by all means just mist.but even if your first flush was low yeilding just dunk for an HR there probably is still extra moisture in there so don't do 3-5 hr just do an HR. I get pretty heavy first flushes am I dunk for about 3 hr.iv trued not dunking on the second. Ya it worked but not like if I would have dunked it

I'm tellin' ya there is no need to submerge the whole network. mycelium is amazing at moving water. @polo it's called bottom watering and I picked it up from an old user named violet

Ya I get you ur method sounds fine man. It should do same thing as dunking I do like to get the top wet. sometimes mine isn't completely submerged. But I do get great flushes from that way.ill try your method on one of my tubs.

Yeah, dunking is a PITA that I just don't bother with anymore either. Bottom watering or a heavy mist work fine.

so I just finished harvesting my 2nd flush... while it was less fruits, it was actually MORE by weight... about 30g more.
I'm trying a 1-hour dunk and going for a 3rd flush. We'll see what happens!
