New Grow Advice Please?

Hello guys,
So after a fairly long break of not growing I decided to get back into it.
I have been researching some of these mini mono tub tek's, PastyWhyte's in particular, HERE however, I have never done a normal mono before and I have all of the supplies for the mini's as well as 7 BRF jars of Brazilians that really need out.
I plan to spawn in coco coir/verm and I was told by a trustworthy source that I need to keep my spawn ratio at 50/50. Being that I will be using a 20 quart tub and that my jars are only the 1/2 pint size, I intend to spawn all 7 jars that are colonized.
I wanted to make sure first of all, I'm building my tub correctly. Following the post that I linked above, it looks like I need 5 1/4" holes on the short sides of the tub staggered and 2 rows total (so 3 holes on the bottom and 2 on top just like Pastywhyte has) Then since he said his go to size hole saw is 1.25" for a regular mono, I figured using 3/4" holes for the big holes on the long sides of the tub would suffice.
However, I would really appreciate if somebody could clarify with me that that's all I need. Also I know that I need to line the tub and to also stuff the bigger holes with polyfill.
Here are a couple of questions that I have though:
1. As far as the bigger holes go, do I just need one on each longside of the tub? and at what height?
2. Also when I line the tub, I plan on using just a black trash bag, would it be okay to tape the liner to the side of the tub? OR do you just line the tub and let the weight of the sub hold it down?
3. I was also told on that post that you're supposed to cover the small holes with tape until the pinset arrives. but what about the lid? Does this get removed the whole way through? Or doI keep it on until pinset like the tape?

1. Not that important. All different things work 2. It doesn't need to be black. And don't tape it you want it to shrink with the substrate. 3. I do fruiting conditions immediately.

Do you do this with your shoeboxes as well? Or do you always use the grocery bag with holes until full colonization?

Given that I have not had any experience with mono's yet. I am completely unsure as to how many big holes to drill on each side and where though. I was thinking 3/4" big holes, I'm hoping that's a sufficient size, just not sure exactly where they need to be. I don't want to mess anything up.

Well I am going with the tek that I linked in my original post. However, it doesn't say anything about the lid needing to be on or off. If I put it into fruiting right away, will i need to keep the lid on?

there's no point to holes if the lids off.

I think for monotubs your hole sizes should be fine. I use 1" holes in my big tubs and stuff with polyfil. If you see that humidity isn't high enough just add more polyfil to restrain FAE.

You get humidity from FAE. Evaporating moisture from your substrate. Don't choke tubs

I ended up going with 1 1/2" ID holes. It's the only size closest to 1 1/4" that i could find and when I re-read Pasty's tek he said he uses 1 1/4" for all sizes typically. I only was thinking 3/4" since I didn't think it was specified in his post for the 20qt but it was.
I did stuff with polyfil, if anything I probably stuffed it loose. How tight should it be?
Also, I hope this doesn't make a huge difference, but when I was drilling the one hole I cracked the plastic pretty good in multiple places along the long side and didn't feel like running to the store for another tote I just taped this one up real good inside and out of where it was cracked and still was able to salvage a perfect hole out of it after fixing.
I am waiting on my substrate to cool now, using coir/verm.

If I follow Pasty's Mini mono above, how often am I to mist? Also I just spawned but I did not dunk my cakes, can I just mist the substrate?

Hey Bod!
I've been following your teks in my first grows and they succeeded. Not that it yielded like the pictures I've seen but I felt great by just harvesting my own shrooms and really appreciate every tek I learn here.
I've been thinking about your approach to FAE and it makes sense to me to use unmodified tubs but I wonder if your fruiting room has any particular air circulation or is it just a small closed room like mine.
Maybe the question is... how fresh the FAE must be?
'Cos one day my room was too hot and I opened a window. It's winter here in Buenos Aires and with the window opened two big healthy mushrooms grew like trying to reach the window. Does that make any sense to you or is it just my imagination?
Thanks for sharing your knowledge and experience. I'm not sure I'd have that kind of patience and generosity.

7 Brazilian cakes into 8 quarts coir/verm. (Hoping I didn't f the math up)
It's been about 4 days and this is what I have so far:

Here are some Introverts since I got a little busy:

Things seem to be looking pretty good to me so far, although I am realizing my liner on this tub was pretty messy as well and although I tried cleaning out beneath it and around the sides as best as I could, it looks like I missed a few spots as there are little spots of myc growing on the outside of the liner ha.
On a side not there are 2 jars that I have of another strain. 1 syringe that I got completely leak about 4ccs into one of my jars without me even touching the plunger. I was so pissed off, I've never once had this happen to me before.
I inocc'd one hole with 1/4 cc, then sterilized the needle as normal procedure and moved to the 2nd hole and after pushing the needle down into the substrate inside of the jar as usual (without ever even have touched the plunger or anywhere near the top of the syringe) and before I could even get my thumb to the plunger, it just started leaking somehow. Needle was absolutely on right and tight. I was pretty frustrated with this as I am extremely meticulous with my sterilization/inoculation process. Anyhow, that jar doesn't look too good...It's all thick white non-rhizomorphic mycelium. I believe it's mycelium anyway. I'll be posting a pic at some point.

There seems to be a good deal of condensation on the sides of my tub as well as on top of the surface of the substrate. This tub has not once been misted, I'm assuming the moisture is coming from the myc growing?
I'm concerned that there isn't enough FAE to evaporate the water droplets. Should I loosen the polyfil or fan? Or do I just let it go as is?

Bump please.
Sorry, I hate doing that but I haven't been seeing as much activity on this as I was expecting. Just looking to learn and do this right.

UPDATE!
Things are looking fantastic so far!
There is a good amount of moisture on the sides of the tub with tiny drops of moisture on the surface of the substrate, all naturally produced! Perfect amount of moisture, I must have gotten lucky with guessing the amount of poly-fil to put in so that's awesome.
I am now starting to get pins! I just got 2-3 noticeable one's that just popped up today!
Here take a look!
By the way, are those tiny little white dots the beginnings of other pins?
