Almond flour (instead of BRF)

What are the pros and cons of using Almond flour instead of BRF?  Will hyphae still grow strong?  Is chance of contamination higher or lower? 

I just made 5 cakes with almond flour as a mistake.  Wondering if it's worth proceeding?  Or if I should re-do with BRF, which I have on hand.

You ever tried peanut butter and saw how oily that stuff is? Almonds have a similar oil/fat content, very very high. Mycelium doesn't like oils, maybe it can cope with a little but almond flour is gonna be too much.
I'd def start over using BRF instead.
You asked the question almost as if almond flour was even a thing in mushroom cultivation... nobody can tell you pros and cons, maybe just tell you that oily subs are far from ideal.
