I confess I saw a site selling shrooms (not legally but ballsy af) and they were selling RW. They were some pretty sad looking specimens and I felt bad for my babies. They had them listed as an entry level potency good for newbies not used to really potent shit like alacabenzi and EQ. I felt a bit irked at that as I’ve usually gotten above average potency from them. But it didn’t stop them from asking a ridiculous price for them. It almost felt like my kids were taken away and put in state care.

That is a bit of a stab Pasty. I've checked out a few of those online sellers in Canada and their descriptions are shit and the prices are too high for sure but it is pretty cool the they are openly selling without being shut down....so far. Reminds me of when weed was still illegal but you could openly mail order.

Oh they are being shut down, a dude in Calgary got done with $750K worth or something not too long ago. I just think the police can’t keep up with all of them.

Yeah it blew my mind how many people are selling mushrooms online now.
They’re definitely making it worth their risk though, the one site I looked at was charging 10 dollars for a 0.1 microdose cap, or 70 for ten of them.
Idk who pays a hundred a gram for shrooms but at that price I’d think most of us here are sitting on millions of dollars

LOL, you made me remember how I warped my Presto 6-quart. I ruined my 6-quart presto running it dry, I forgot about that lol I think I was trying to block it out of my head but this is a good place to remember it. With the tiny PCs if you put too much water it splashes in the jar and too little is easier to run dry. I'm not a fan of the 6-quart for this hobby.
I was an idiot and saw something online about letting it run 10 minutes before putting the weight on, which is true for bigger models but was not the way I was supposed to run my 6-quart according to Presto. Since I have bought a 25-quart All-American pressure sterilizer and am glad I had my "learning experience" on the cheaper equipment running my tiny presto dry and warping the bottom. The Sterilizer would be hard to run dry unless just left the valve open the whole time so I plan to make it last a lifetime.
Now I just need to buy a weight for my sterilizer so I can convert it back and forth from PC to sterilizer so I can learn to do agar in it, or buy another small PC for just agar.

Get some of it to grain. Best case, sooner fruits. Worst case you add to the compost

They don’t look that strong yet. I’m finally getting some rhizo growth on a couple of my plates after switching back to BRF. I think the T4 plates should do the trick for grain. I just want to be a little patient so I get the best fruits for cloning in the end.
Edit: I’m a little strapped for cash to get jars and grain right now too. Got to wait on some money first. I plan on getting my old credit card back lol. It still has some Money on it. Plus I’m working still.

Haha, it is a process for sure. Forgot how much patience you need for this hobby. Good luck Pastywhyte!
@SunnyDayze- I usually get this finch bird seed at my local farm store for a decent deal. I use wbs as my masters and oats as my receiving jars. People were telling me wbs has more inoculation points so I started doing it that way and never looked back. I had stacks of mush but got rid of everything. Slowly just building back up. I’m not going to grow as much as I was.

I confess that I'm doing busy work because my mind won't shut the fuk up, it hasn't chattered like this in years, but I haven't had the problems I have now in a very long time and not quite the same situation. I'm finding it extremely difficult to concentrate on one thing for very long. Usually, shrooms would help to calm down all the noise but with my kid sick with cancer and dad dying plus a few other immediate family having cancer it's driving me nuts. I'm afraid to dose and something happens to my dad or one of the others, I don't want to have to deal with anything like that while tripping. Add in all the BS with the virus, it's not allowing me to be in a good place at all. I was making progress with my research projects being able to use mushboys shoebox tek to grow my research specimens from multiple spore, I'm able to grow several different species at one time and use an 1/8th of the space or less to do it. When I tried it the 1st time I was hooked, it's perfect for small personal amounts that allow for a few more doses than the pf tek, fruit size and yield are both perfect for the recreational user or a small independent researcher like myself. Anyone willing to send me collections of Panaeolus growing in dung and grass. send me a message. I need specimens from all around the world. I'm happy to answer any questions in private message regarding this request. much love to my mush family

Wishing you clarity and strength mate. Focus on the moment, focus on what you can control, focus on breath and maybe do some slow reps of whatever bodyweight exercise you find easy to do when you're feeling overwhelmed, I find that returns me to the real and present, rather than the abstract and worrisome.
I dont think I have had any family affected by cancer (by god the rate of that illness has seemingly skyrocketed, but in my american friends' families. Not here though? You rarely hear about anyone having cancer here.), but the key to resolving at least half the trauma of tragedy, at least in my experience, is resolving your feelings of helplessness because you cant actually do anything to help (you can, but you cant just excise the illness).
