I think he already exercises on kratom after he's starved himself. Then he has an egg eating contest where he tries to beat the previous day's record.
Don't doubt his savage methods again. Deleting that post was very smart. I'm not sure you could handle finding out how out of touch you are.

New study suggests high carb meals are actually more satiating than high fat meals
https://examine.com/nutrition/high-carb-high-satiety/
People on high carb diets ate fewer calories overall

In this study they controlled for protein. A lot of people on keto diets may have increased satiety because they end up eating a lot more protein. The study also points put that people on high fat diets report being "less bothered" by feelings of hunger, but but ended up eating more calories anyway. Conclusion is high carb diets probably lead to increased satiety because high carb foods are less calorie dense and distend the stomach more. Pretty straightforward
The nature of the carbs makes a big difference. Potatoes are extremely satiating, skittles are not

I dont understand the question but fiber does play a role in the increased satiety of foods yes.

Don’t people on keto usually exert more calories overall throughout the day? I think it’s called mitochondrial uncoupling or something like that? Basically your body wastes energy in an attempt to warm you up because if you’re eating low carb, chances are it’s winter. Something something brown fat
I like low carb but with starches for maintaining weight though

Meant it as -those with a diet consisting of mainly proteins & fats could simply satisfy any lingering hunger with fibrous foods (or some fiber product) & water.

I didnt read the study yet, but anecdotally I think hardboiled eggs are the most satiating thing ever, cant eat more then 16 and thats like only 1200 calories I ate at 4pm and I felt full all the rest of the day, before I was eating eggs I would easily eat double or more of calories a day, I never counted my calories but I would guess I was eating about 3000 calories on eating days, when im eating like bread with nutella or something I can always eat another slice, sweet things cause second stomach phenomenon, maybe that dosnt go against the study, maybe protein is more fulling then carbs or fat

In this situation, my own anecdotes are worth more than that. I definitely do not feel more satiated eating mostly carbs compared to fat and protein, no matter what form they're in. I always got hungry within a couple hours eating high carb.

Busy atm but i believe i read in that article that fiber content was also equivalent between thw two diets
I definitely get hungry within a couple hours of eating carbs but i find that it doesnt matter, i just keep eating carbs all day long. Just whole food plant carbs. This is the diet i lost 80lbs on and ive kept it off for like 4 years now
You can lose weight on any deficit diet for sure, i was just sharing the study. People on high fat diet averaged 990cals more per day

Impossible, violates the laws of thermodynamics.
If you lose fat youre using more energy than youre absorbing. period. One benefit of plant carbs for weight loas is you actually dont absorb some of the energy you eat but they still make you feel full

Could be true but since i burn plenty and stay in shape without one, i would prefer not to do it, because most of the foods i crave have carbs in them

I think the idea behind seasonal eating is that people used to gain weight during spring summer and fall when edible plants were in abundance along with meat. Then in colder months they lost weight when they ate mostly meat which led to mitochondrial uncoupling and prolonged periods of fasting. Since they weren’t switching between utilizing fat and glycogen very often they didn’t spend much time in that in between phase which favors catabolizing proteins over the other two energy sources and could maintain a lot of muscle even in times of famine

If you have your macros right, really know what you’re doing, and don’t have one cheat day for months, it MAY be possible to eat in a caloric surplus and lose some fat. Aside from the 3 things I mentioned I will add if you’re gifted genetically will have an impact. The dude was eating extremely clean. Of course something positive can happen, maybe. Then when he did his higher carb experiment, he ate like shit and gained fat. When I carb cycle, I have 2-3 days where I eat in a surplus and I still drop fat and gain muscle. But I also have 4-5 days where I’m at maintenance or just below. I can lie and tell you I have a caloric surplus every day. The only pictures you can find of the “5000 calorie experiment” are when he gained fat. I can’t find any actual verification of any of it. If you’re thinking about trying it, don’t. You’re just gonna get really fat and disappointed.
