Will some light from the window be enough to keep it growing a little bit over the winter?

So I saw a post on facebook, someone found a peyote cactus in a home depot, how do I get a peyote harvesting some buttons and tripping sounds like a lot less effort.

At 2 weeks I watered my cactus since it seemed really dry and had been dry a week.
Now its been maybe 10 days since then or some shit and it just rained a fuck ton on my cactus, I hope that doesn't cause rot. I am trying to keep my waterings very spread out.

Peyote will takes forever to grow unless you graft it. San Pedro is much more practical not to mention legal.

Actually, no, don't use anything from the road. Its dubious as to where any of it is sourced from. Even roadway salt is usually free from the oil industry because it's often radioactive and a cheap way to dispose of it to cities and towns that either don't think to test the stuff or don't care. (Radium-226 and radium-228) Not something I would want around my plants.
do you have a link?

For black top containing tar and arsenic? Not one that compiles everything together. Check the different types of asphalts and tars used, then check the ingredients in each one; anything using creosote will have arsenic in it and the others have Aluminum Oxide. (Aluminum is neurotoxic), although I'm unsure if cactus absorb it.
It ultimately depends on the type of blacktop used, most places use bitumen but some places still use coal and wood tar. Wood tar is full of creosote which also contains arsenic. I may not have read the post well enough since last seeing this thread but if it's piled up then it's probably asphalt and bitumen. Asphalt also contains alumina (Aluminum Oxide) and Aluminum isn't something I have much love for beyond using it on sweet potatoes.
I'm guessing you want a link for road salt and it's radioactivity, here is the Rollingstone article I read last year. It is a pretty biased article but informing if you can see passed that. While the road salt alone probably isn't going to cause health problems to most people, the cumulative load from all the "little poisons" around us does add up. The water collects a lot of naturally occurring radioactive particles and those don't disappear with evaporation. Simply put, I wouldn't collect material from the road side, old or new. It will probably be coming with something unexpected and I wouldn't want it on my own plants.

On a similar note, Bananas are also lightly radioactive and you can extract the potassium from them + the peal if you get a dozen hands or so together.

I ordered a gallon of organic fish + kelp extract for my plants but that is because kelp alone was only in-stock at a five gallon bucket. Drammatic ONE, aka Dram-one, there are plenty of good liquid fertilizer / nutrient brands. Some people use compost, hydroponic / foliage sprays; nodding toward a balanced or low nitrogen fertilizer. Cactus don't really NEED fertilizer, just change their dirt every few years or add some compost on top. Some of my plants have powered cow manure on top in small amounts.
Some of my larger Pedros in 10 and 20 gallon buckets get a flush of kelp or fish emulsion mixed up in a five gallon bucket and they get a nice growth spurt, but that is probably why one fell over... grew too fast and thick but didn't have a hard wood core or roots to support it.

There's a cactus food premixed and will last for years. It's added by drops per gallon, look for it at a home depot type place.

San pedro are really easy..any plant food will work as long as it's got NPK in it.. yeah a cactus food is just fine.. maybe better.. I had a buddy who had one in his front yard for years and it was like 6 ft tall..

So here are my cactus now.
one seems to be curving, are these doing alright? Seem like they are kinda slow at growing.

The curving can be normal. The tend to lean back away from Sun sometimes.
They do look dehydrated but ok otherwise. The ribs are all sucked in and not plump and full. Could be the reason for their slow growth.
If your soil is hydrophobic(repels water), then it's wise to use a wetting agent when you water. This will break the water's surface tension and allow it to penetrate the soil.

My soil is mostly coco coir and pea gravel and a little bit of potting soil.
I was lacking on watering them several weeks ago but now I have been watering weekly,
It hasn't rained much till today and yesterday so they're getting some natural rain water now.
I also recently fed them so hopefully that has some benefits.

Fake in what way?
They're a few inches taller, after feeding them I did notice a substantial increase in diameter of the top portion of the cactus.
