Quick poll: soak or heavy mist between flushes
    #26883254 - 08/16/20 10:58 AM (3 years, 5 months ago)

I am just wondering what everyone's experience is and whats working for you? Are you soaking for several hours between flushes or heavy misting?
Soak or heavy mist?
You may choose only one

No dunking anymore for me.
Just bottom water if needed and misting.
I don't like my bricks waterlogged.

Thank for the input Goatrider. SWIM is having problems with 80l tub cakes that break. They are hoping they dont have to dunk anymore.

Dunking is an annoying PITA.  Forget it.

Your hand is gonna break misting 500ml st once:lol:

But a heavy mist is usually all it needs. if a sub pushes out so much water it needs a dunk  its probably going to be a one and done deal anyway.

There's just no reason to say your friend. SWIM. Etc...

It's no protection.

Made my hand cramp thinking about it lol.  Yesterday had to drench an 8ft utility shelf I'd built out of wood with mold spots on it with maybe 1000ml of bleach solution and it sucked many balls...

You may also float your tub for harvest.
Unmodified prefered for that
Watering is done after harvest then.

^^^:laugh2:. Back in the day everyone's cat used to cult for them.  2000-2005 saw a 6000% uptick in feline fungi cultivation start-ups.

Lol. Wherever that Swim shit started,no one has ever taken that seriously or been saved by it. Like "someone who isn't me".. Yeah sure it's not you... Why not just use "my friend" or even better this cat or dog stuff

Anyways on topic, I don't know what the difference between bottom watering and soaking is but I soak my shoeboxes and have yet to soak a mono but I will try it next if it gets too dry. I agree with bod

I use SWIM as in "someone who is me", because it's more fun than just saying me.

Swim helps you exactly as much as โ€œif youโ€™re a cop you have to tell meโ€.

I stopped dunking cuz I was getting waterlogged flushes after too. Now I usually mist it heavily (nowhere near 500ml) or sometimes fill the tub so the bottom half of the sub is underwater and leave it 2-3 hours.

I wait 2-3 days for signs of recovery before misting the ever loving SHIT out of it: both the top and around the sides, as to slightly bottom water the sub... I'll even follow up with a secondary heavy misting the following day if the sub seems to have soaked it up

Best case scenario, this makes you an accessory to a felonious offense...

I bottom water and mist unless its an extra thirsty culture. Then I float it like a boat and mist. Like someone already said. Give it whatever it needs and dont over think it.
