The Last Narc (on Amazon Prime)

If you got Amazon Prime then it's free to stream. And it is pretty fascinating.
It details the 1970's/80's rise of the Mexican drug cartels. Some of you may remember that a DEA agent (Kiki Camerana) was abducted by the cartel in the 80's and was tortured for days and then ultimately killed. Or maybe you learned about it in the Netflix series Narcos.
This docu-series makes the mind blowing claim that the CIA actively took part in Camarena's abduction and death. Camarena allegedly uncovered the fact (and had proof) that the CIA was working with the cartels. If anyone would wonder why the CIA would work with the cartels, it's because the extraordinary revenue stream helped (in theory) aid their effort in the Iran Contra affair. So that would be pretty good motive to have Camarena eliminated if you were the CIA.
There supposedly has been rumors for decades about the CIA's involvement in Camarena's abduction and murder, but this time you have several former, high ranking DEA agents, along with several more ex-Mexican police officers who worked directly for the cartels claiming that the CIA 100% orchestrated the entire thing.
Now it would be one thing to have a few former corrupt Mexican police officers claiming this...but to have former DEA guys claiming this?? Whoa.
We all have known the Central Intelligence Agency to be a real shady organization, that's kinda common knowledge -- the myths and the rumors...but THIS is absolutely nuts if true.
Anyway it's a fascinating documentary, and it just released. If you have Amazon Prime then all you gotta do is search for "The Last Narc" and then press play.

Wow that is crazy, it sounds too crazy to be true so it probably is true. If the CIA was willing to pump crack cocaine into Black communities and ultimately White, Mexican, and every community as a result I doubt they would be above killing an American. I will check this out later thanks for the recommendation.

By the way I know some here might be like well the guy was a DEA agent so he deserved to get killed, but Camarena wasn't here state side fucking with anybody. His career was taking down the cartels.
He was tortured over the course of 30 some hours, with the aid of a doctor there to keep him alive (for prolonged torture).
Taken from this link:
http://sites.bu.edu/daniellerousseau/2018/12/13/enrique-s-kiki-camarena-the-beginning-of-red-ribbon-week/
Quote:
During this time Kiki was subjected to numerous torture techniques for over 30 hours. Quintero and others brutally assaulted Kiki over and over again. They crushed his skull, jaw, nose, and cheekbones by beating him with a combination of fists and a tire iron. They broke his ribs with numerous assaults to his mid-section. They were so brutal in their attack that they even drilled a hole in his head, and if that was not enough, they also tortured him with a cattle prod.
The torture that Kiki Camarena underwent was so intense that he passed out from the pain and almost died a few times during these torture sessions. Quintero was such a psychopath about the tortures that he ordered a cartel doctor to keep Kiki alive. “At that point, he administered lidocaine into his heart to keep him alert and awake during the torture,” (Jeunesse). Due to his numerous wounds from the torture, eventually Kiki could no longer be kept alive, and he died on February 9th, 1985.
Horrific, dude. In addition to the cartel being there (obviously), and now maybe even the CIA -- very high ranking Mexican government officials were also believed to be present at the torture. Because Camarena could've implicated all of them.

Also one more thing -- if anyone is wondering where El Chapo was in all of this, he was a young (but rising) soldier in the cartel. He wasn't calling the shots at this point but he was around, and reportedly he was doing a lot of a dirty work (abducting, torturing, killing) for the cartel.

Yeah the DEA didn't start out as so terrible going after citizens as it does now, back then they were going after the influx of drugs from other countries so I don't think he deserved to die. When I was younger I have had the unfortunate acquaintance of meeting cartel members before and if I had to theoretically watch them be shot in the face I'd be able to go to sleep at night like a baby; they were total scumbags that had no respect for human life. Women, children...nothing is sacred to them. Not every smuggler is a bad guy but most cartel members are either evil AF or even if they start out as good people they get that way after years of being around others that are scum and slowly devolve to be the same.

Yeah the cartel torture stories are legendary. Stomach churning stuff. Mass grave sites uncovered, decapitated bodies hanging from overpasses, stitching faces onto soccer balls (that's not just a scene from Breaking Bad, that was taken from real stories), victims being burned alive in slower burning fuel because it lasted longer...oh and shooting up entire night clubs just to get at one person. Etc. It's really impossible to wrap my mind around how easily the cartels dispatch human lives.
In this documentary they talked about how paranoid the cartels were at this time, and basically it got to the point where anybody they saw who was white was a possible DEA agent and needed to be eliminated.
Well these two white couples were visiting Mexico around that time. Completely innocent. They were ordered by the cartel bosses to be abducted and tortured in order to find out who they were "working for". These couples had absolutely no idea what they were talking about and they were tortured to death, and the two females were raped repeatedly before death. In front of their husbands. This story according to the DEA agents in the documentary, backed up by the former Mexican police officers who were there on-site. The sheer terror & horror those poor people must've went through.
Sickening shit beyond words. I swear from the stories I'd rather be abducted and killed by ISIS than a Mexican drug cartel.
