Wanna get out of the US soon. Maybe the Netherlands? I can only speak English right now so I should probably start learning a new language but I need figure out where I’m gonna go first lol. New Zealand is pretty beautiful too but I hate humidity. I’m leaning towards one of the Scandinavian countries but not sure on which one yet.

Australia.
Only country I'll consider putting roots down in at this point.

Netherlands is cool, not saying this is you, but if you think Amsterdam because of the "colorful" appeal, believe you me you will get sick of it shortly..
edit: and rain in that part of Europe will be an issue, as long as you don't mind.

Yes, buy into the fear mongering; that means more Australia for me!!
(seriously, I've lived there twice and it's as close to heaven on earth as I'm going to find)

Canada seems alright. I like cooler weather and lately I've really been thinking hard about finding a job in Wisconsin or Minnesota.

I’m in the Smoky mountains right now so it rains basically every day at least a little bit. Asheville felt pretty “colorful” at first but everything is overpriced and it’s just full of pretentious old people. I’m mostly tired of the government here, gotta get out before bezos turns me into a wage slave haha.

Spain is beautiful, plus I already know a little Spanish, but it’s Mexican Spanish .
One thing I’m gonna miss here is the free healthcare. Not sure about other places but in Spain you need to be a citizen for 10 years to qualify for that.

As far as the US goes the Twin Cities in MN are pretty legit. The state has a progressive attitude and there's a ton of culture in the cities. The winters can be brutal though.
Anyone look at Portugal? Seems their government is generally pro-human, low cost of living, and easy access to the EU on the weekends.

Spanish culture is pretty tough to beat. Healthy, generally tolerant and independent. If you have a grip of cash Andorra is pretty nice but then again you can live much cheaper on the other side of the border and still be in the Pyrenees. The Ariège portion of Occitanie in France has always been high on my list as well.

I love living in the Bay Area of California. Doesn't get much better then this.
If shit hit the fan and I needed out of the US of A then I would head on down to beautiful Peru and start my Llama/Bridgesii farm. On weekends I would give tours of the ruins nearby and sell Ayahuasca ceremonies to rich people from the USA.
Before that I might do a year working and snowmobiling in Antarctica or maybe fur trapping above the arctic circle.

I've been planning moving to Uruguay for several years. Once my daughter goes off to collage I am out of here. Colonia or somewhere in Tacuarembo most likely. Unless something opens up in Patagonia or Almaty Kazakhstan, Uruguay is where it's happening for me.
