Police have the right to ask for your name and address in many situations, including when they:
find you committing an offence ‘reasonably suspect’ that you have committed an offence think you can help them investigate an indictable offence or domestic violence act give you an order to stop making noise or being a nuisance stop you while you are in control of a vehicle trying to enforce another specific law where it is reasonable in the circumstances.
She was breaking the law, she needed to give her name and address, protesting for freedom and not wearing a mask is against the law and then not giving her name and address was double law breaky and she should have been killed in the streets right then and there. She is a danger to society and could kill hundereds of thousands of people with her actions. She must be executed to save others lives for their freedom.

That's it JSB, the whole ID yourself "where it is reasonable in the circumstances" is a massive cover all. If they have any reason to talk to is what it really means. One can easily escalate some trivial nonsense into 6 hours detention and a court appearance by being a fuckhead about it... like the chick in the video now knows.
I bet any money the "freedom" rally she went to was actually a thinly veiled anarchy rally, When I was a young meerkat I thought such things were cool as well.

Or and I am gonna go out on a big limb here, people don't like being locked up in their houses.
"A protester in Melbourne is told to ''move on'' during a stage-4 lockdown for leaving home without a legitimate reason before he is arrested"
Maybe, just maybe some people don't like governments having complete authoritarian control over them.

A lot of people in Australia will just roll over, cause the government there gives people a lot of free money, everyone who doesn't work gets free money, not a lot but just enough to live off of.
People will let governments do what ever they want to them in exchange for money.

That's a bit extreme. Protesting for freedumb is not against the law, it's Australia not Iran. This country has great levels of self determination and free speech. They didn't shoot her, or even harm her. Sure it wasn't pleasant but fighting cops is a bad idea in any country in the world, in any time in history. Probably did pretty well off actually considering. US cops just would have pavement slammed her and let the medics deal with it. Wouldn't have made for such an entertaining video though.
I've lived in Australia for many years and never had multiple police officers trying to fight me to the ground. Because I'm not fucking stupid and I know the laws of my country apply to me too.
I understand why some young people may think that having to wear a mask for public safety or be fined is like having a curfew and being shot by the gestapo in sight if breaking it. It's because they are self centred and entitled, the whole world revolves around their feelings. That's what happens when you have safe spaces and everyone gets a prize for losing.

A lot of people will follow laws that are in the public interest because they are not self centred cunts as well.
Not having people roaming around spending money and doing cool stuff hits the budget bottom line. Governments like money, politicians are primarily businesspeople, but pandemics are really bad for business. No money coming in, loads going out. Bad mojo.
It's not Nazi Germany though, it's not an ethical purge of the lower castes. Just simply crowd control to stop a massive outbreak. Eventually it may all be in vain and a vaccine or cure never found. But any government in its right mind would be remiss not to try and stop the the spread before it's taxpayers all get sick.

Lol, you really are a true media victim. Grab the headline and run with it, don't read the details. Fear and outrage is all you need man.
By the way, that's a rescue helicopter, not a police one.

That's right clearly it is rescuing that camper, camping there with their car, posted by the police on their facebook page saying don't camp out in the wilderness or be fined. Keep cucking their government appreciates it.

No one is advocating people be locked in their houses 24/7. That's dangerous misrepresentation. Most people are just begging people to wear a fucking mask. Also you know the countries that did nationwide lockdown had to stay in their houses to the extent that they had to sign a form to go out for meds and groceries. It worked, they only did it once and now they can continue to live while we can't because people are bitching about not being in packed spaces, bitching about wearing a piece of cloth on their face, bitching about everything that will save the economy and countless lives. Fucking sickening
