Hi everyone!
I'm not 100% sure if this question is ok with the forum rules (specifically the rule #6 let me think it's NOT but the number 7# let me think YES) so if not sorry and feel free to cancel this post.
I recently relocated to south Sweden (let's say close to Helsinborg) and therefore I don't know much of the area so I was wondering if any of you can suggest one of more natural areas/parks to focus my search for Liberty Caps. As I don't know much of this area as I grow up and lived in Italy I thought I could ask about.. Thanks!

Use google maps combined with street view and compare to habitat pictures posted here. Discovering new areas is part of the fun. Good luck.

We can't answer your question other than what has been recommended already. www.mushroomobserver.org and www.inaturalist.org are good places to see what is being found and has been found in an area.

Yes, look at satelite photos, then go by bus, car, bicycle outside town and check out places. Look for cows, horses, sheep, golf courses. Me and some other swedes more north of you have found some early liberty caps a couple of weeks ago, but mostly along tracks in forests and places on higher ground. Because you are in the south and it has fewer forests it's to early to go hunting. I don't think it's time to go out in Helsingborg until at least a month from now. But go now and find good habitats that you can visit later!

Thanks. Yeah I know about the fact that is early and I already have a list of some areas to look at, which I guess I should not mention then (and I've been hunting in the apennins in Italy, where I come from, so I know which habitat look at). I mainly posted the question to know about some other "minor" areas, that are also a nice hike, as I'm a stranger here but I do understand if this not ok with the forum rules (however this point It is perfectly fine to mention places that are more than a couple square kilometers still confuse me a bit about that rule). Hope to post some pics next time!

Google maps can be a tough place to start. Before doing that, try searching online for a local farm directory.
Something like this:

If you're looking for libs it doesn't have to be a place frequently used by grazing animals, they will grow in well maintained lawns, healthy meadows and the like.
