I'm unfamiliar with a vid that covers this, but just slice out a wedge and drop it in an LC jar.

Yes thanks... any idea of a good LC mix? I was thinking 4% honey ( in volume) in filtered water pc at 15psi for 25 min. 40 ml honey in 1000 ml water. 1 week at normal temp, after inside the fridge. How do u think?

Honey is antifungal and too slow IMO. 4% karo will work fine, but like, 0.166666666666667% light malt extract should work better- the myc will search for food at lower nute levels, thus growing more quickly. So for 1000ml you'd use 1 2/3g LME.

GWLC
Grain water liquid culture
when you boil your grain, recuperate the water. (I try to collect the less particules as possible, to do it I run it through a coffee filter after.)
the recipe I do is 300 mL GW AND 200 mL tap water 15 min at 15 psi

Multiply your containers ml x .04 = grams of syrup/ honey needed. Comes out to about 2.5 tsp per 250ml. Pressure cook at 15psi for 20mins. Between 20-30 mins the sugars start caramelizing in your solution so depending on when you quit determines a more clear solution. Not drastically important but something to keep in mind. You can do your lids a bunch of ways just be aware that an airtight seal is not gonna let you draw liquid out through an injection port unless you have another hole in the lid that you can put a filter syringe in (empty syringe stuffed with polyfill). The jars I use have one injection port on the top and they dont seal down "perfectly" so I just parafilm them and that allows enough air passage to draw up culture. Hope this helps!
Also: I use light corn syrup. Cause its dirt cheap and crystal clear for spotting contams. 👍

You can use anything with carbohydrates, so, endless routes to success here really. Boiled potato water will work. Boiled grain water will work. Etc.

First link in my signature.
If you have the courage and grit to wade through my outrageous TL;DR, you're gonna find that it is an extremely easy and hard-to-fuck-up TEK that can be summed up in 2 sentences, yeap. IIRC I was just practicing my English at the time or something, sorry for that. Seriously you're gonna love it.
