Possible psilocybe identification
    #26877427 - 08/12/20 07:39 PM (3 years, 5 months ago)

Habitat:
I found these growing along a small goat path along a river. they were perched beautifully on top of a slightly decaying yet still very alive tree, then I found a second batch a bit farther down the trail that were similar in size, color, shape.

Gills:
brownish, with a slight purple tinge to it.

Stem:
very thicc and very long. white on the inside and slightly brown on the outside. Possibly from the dirt that was around the area. each stem is about 3 inches ling and about almost a half inch thicc. Also they had veils but most of them fell and broke off.

Cap:
all are a toasty top, one is more white than the others but all of them have the toasty tops. very circular, I know that is vague but thats it.

Spore print color:
almost like a copper brown. Not typical for psilocybe that I have seen online but I have been seeing more and more online that have a brown spore print.

Bruising:
none that I see right now. Again from the research I have done it has said that there will be a bluish bruising, and again I have been seeing some that have absolutely no bruising.

Did you delete your picture?

We need a picture to be able to identify.
