It's been a little over three weeks, and I can't tell if a BRF/PF jar is finally showing signs of colonization, or if it has been contaminated.

What do you guys think of that white streak?
Any thoughts/comments are much appreciated.

Looks like myc to me. Three weeks is a pretty long time to show growth though. Keep a eye on it and don’t move it around much if you can help it. How many jars did you make? I’d make more and keep the cycle going just incase it doesn’t pan out.

This was my first attempt, so I just did 5 jars. You already saw the other post, so you know about the error I made whilst inoculating.
Note that I'm conducting this work at a house other than my own.
This was the only jar that showed any promising signs. Initially, my partner kept the jars in a closet, and I thought it might help if perhaps the jars could get even a little bit of light because there were no signs of growth or contam after two weeks. Unfortunately, I didn't specify where he should place the jars, so he put them in a table in a room that had a ceiling fan running constantly. This probably caused the very obvious black and yellow contam in two of the jars. The other two jars simply didn't show signs of anything.
I have actually switched techniques up a bit, and am starting to do agar plates, since I like the idea of having more control and precision. So far I've only inoculated one plate, and am waiting to see what progress is made with that. I prepared two other agar plates that I want to inoculate. My work was disrupted because a storm went through my area and knocked out the power in my area for multiple days.
I'm worried now because this might spoil all the work I've done so far, since my friend's house is probably above room temperature due to lack of AC, and the plates I was refrigerating are no longer going to retain their freshness.
